  • Intent: Create a very cheap and universal Enviro Suit
  • Image Source: spacesuit by Carlo-Arellano
  • Canon Link: Enviro-suit

  • Primary Source: N/A
PRODUCTION INFORMATION
TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS
  • Classification: Envirosuit
  • Weight: Light
  • Resistances
- Blasters: Low
- Kinetic: High
- Lightsabers: None
- Other: Average

SPECIAL FEATURES
Strengths:
  • Resistance - The GES suit is designed for working environments, whether its construction, mining, other anything else. It is meant to protect the wearer.
  • Vital Protection - While the suit doesn't protect against every weapon, or any weapon in every place, vital areas such as organs, joints, and the skull are heavily protected, guaranteeing the user a chance at living through an accident or an unaimed weapons shot, but should not be confused with actual armor.
Weaknesses:
  • Cheap But Effective - Due to cost restraints officially made on the suit, and with all of its features, its power pack only allows a couple of hours use before requiring a replacement or recharge
  • Limited Mobility - Even though the suit attempts at better mobility, there is so much packed into it - systems for survivability & materials for protection - the suit is harshly thick in most areas and even known to be cumbersome to wear.
DESCRIPTION
For a long time, Galderra had been reliant on other providers for environmental suits, and those providers started to catch on to Galderras dependency. The suggestion was made, and it wasn't known as to why Galderra Royal Treasury never started to make their own environmental suits. For them, being a construction company, it absolutely made sense. And so began the industrialization effort to make their own products for construction, mining, and other similar business. A construction business ought to have their own construction equipment, after all.

The suit was designed to operate in many atmospheres, even space. It holds an oxygen supply for more than a few hours, unfortunately the power pack inside typically does not last as long. The suit is also able to provide communications systems to the wearer, and if necessary, turn liquid waste into clean, drinkable water, if they catch themselves too far from a refresh and recharge station. While the reprosessor uses little power, it is also very slow and unreliable, but at least it only dispense water if it works. Under dire circumstances, the suit is always shipped with a sealed pocket full of trace-breather cartridges, such as if the suit were to fail or there was an emergency and the suit failed, or someone elses suit failed. The pocket is sealed in such a way it requires being literally torn to access it. Torn tracer pocket suits can still be resold, but typically at a much lower price. They are as cheap and effective as possible, allowing even fresh new spacers the ability to purchase them.

Material: ArachSilk, Bedizene, Callacord, Coarseweave, Durable Plastifoam, Durafiber, Duranex, Duraplast, Elastex, Meta-Ceramic, Armorweave, Transparisteel

A couple of these materials are known to be able to dissipate/ protect considerably against blaster fire. Armorweave and Duraplast are the two major ones. Are they included across only limited portions of the suit, or are they used in cosmetics, as inherently these should bring blaster resistance to average or high?

Try to find one more strength and weakness here - it could be something easy, like cumbersome or not blaster resistant or something else.

Duraplast typically only covers the shoulders, elbows and knees, as a general armor piece so if they fall or something hits them they are protected, it's not meant to be used to block blaster fire. And the submission has so many materials because they are all typically used in a limited way, in special areas, in joints where places need to be softer and not harder for mobility. The suit does not benefit from the blaster resistant material except in vital places, and where it's unlikely to be shot by a blaster and more likely used for the materials other benefits. If it is confusing or you think it may be abused in some way I have no problem removing them, just let me know.

I have added a strength and weakness, please tell me if they are satisfactory
