The Foreman
Alright, so, while we're all busy with Druckenwell and Ryloth, there are some things we should handle in the meantime. Firstly, it has come to our attention that Marek Starchaser is stepping down as Foreman of the Techno Union. In the absence of people willing to take the mantle, an NPC will be created. It would be a very simple matter for the faction administration to do this, but I think it'd be a great idea for us to turn the process over to the entire faction. Fill out an NPC form and PM it to one of us. When we have a decent number of them, we'll post them up in Faction Discussion along with a poll to determine the Techno Union's new Foreman.
As with all IC leaders who are NPCs, faction staff will decide their actions (if any) within the confines of their listed personality. By submitting an NPC to this competition, you agree to let us handle the roleplaying of the NPC until they are beaten in the next Foreman election. Or some other travesty befalls them, but don't count on that.
The Armory Manifest
We've been pretty lax about updating our armory manifest. Since we are a collection of powerful, kind of benevolent (in the broadest meaning of that phrase) corporations, it seems apt to do it in the following way. The Techno Union's armory manifest will be a list of all the marketplace storefronts of the Techno Union. It is to be assumed that the Techno Union's member-planets buy goods from these corporations in bulk. Thus, they are plentiful and can be freely used as assets by the Techno Union. Corporations can be part of the new and improved Techno Union armory manifest without having a seat on the executive council. The only requirement is that you must have a marketplace storefront that can be linked to.
The armory manifest will not just include product-based storefronts. Services, such as security and finance, will also be listed under a "service companies" header. To become part of the Techno Union's armory manifest, PM me with your storefront link.

If there's also another thing we've been slacking off on doing, it's keeping tabs on the Executive Council. We're not very up-to-date with our record keeping, unfortunately. If you want your company to have a seat on the Executive Council PM me the link to your company submission and the name of the company's active CEO. Please bear in mind that the Techno Union will not accept companies into its ranks that are mired in corruption, owned by controversial figures, or regularly service causes and entities that are outright hostile to the Union's cause.
Your company should be at least Tier III and well-established before attempting to join. Remember that votes are tallied in accordance to the tier level of the corporation. Tier IIIs get one vote, Tier IVs get two votes, Tier Vs get three votes, and Tier VIs get four votes.
