Description: The GE-RTD is designed primarily for use in large environments which pose a threat to those navigating the area. Places such as caverns, shipwrecks, hazardous areas, and abandoned ruins are all places where this little droid could be of great use. Navigating one's way through potentially treacherous tunnels or long passageways with no accurate geographical readings could lead to danger, wasted time, or even loss of life. This droid is capable of scanning in a 360 degree field of view as it travels, powered by tiny repulsorlifts, allowing it to lift and drop distance to ensure accurate, full readings. The infrared mode allows it to scan for potentially dangerous heat levels, such as volcanic heat. The communications array allow the droid to securely pass the mapped data back to a centralized terminal in real time, as it is being constructed.
