Born to Streya and Kina Horne, Gavid was thrust into military service following the collapse of the Republic. Since then, Gavid has been a soldier and has recently transferred into the Galactic Alliance Marines. Taking his experience and knowledge and charisma with him, Gavin plans to enact retribution for the Alliance's costly losses at Ziost.

Gavid is a charismatic man, his presence alone inspires his troops and those around him. He is a go-getter and aggressive, and his somewhat-bubbly personality is contagious, his motivation igniting it in those around him.
He is a deadly shot with a rifle, and a lethal fighter in close-quarters. He fights dirty, and wins by being more aggressive than the other guy. He's an excellent tactician, and can react to changing situations on the fly. He incorporates assets well into his assault and breach plans, and knows how to utilize the team and assets given to him. He's very gifted at putting people where they need to be, and helping them fulfill their potential, or utilizing their strengths in a fight.
