Garnet Rings

Intent: To rebuild an ancient Sith artifact that can be an invasion reward that honors the Voice who made the Necron possible
Development Thread:
Manufacturer: One Sith
Model: Darksiders Heart
Affiliation: One Sith
Modularity: None
Production: Limited (invasion reward for both jedi and sith)
Material:
  • Crystal
  • Durasteel
Description:
Formed to work with the Necron and presented to those who helped forge it through power and slaughter on Kashyyyk. The rings are much like the jedi ensnarement rings left on Ossus and presented to members of the padawan pack. The newest part of the rings is being created to channel and amplify the darkside for spells at the cost of the users health and stamina. Powerful magics always come with a cost but these ones can be used by jedi as well to combat the sith. At least on the surface as far as they know and see, the ensnarement being weaker then the old magics. It can't make a jedi shift from light to dark in a snap of the finger it requires time and makes them want to use it more and more further corrupting them. The other part that is large is the small connection and ties to the Necron a newly formed item of the one sith using ancient magics. In its presence the rings feel stronger and warm to the touch.

This differs greatly from ring of ensnarement whose effects are instant, this is actually a drastic change from the intended effect of the original concept which makes me want a Development thread.

C. I'm not comfortable with using an invasion as a Development thread. For certain things its fine, for this? Not really because it has a particular outstanding effect. I think you know the drill since i touched upon this with the last invasion reward.

Do an dev thread of 10 or so posts, explain to me what Necrons are, and increase the size of the description and this will be passed through :)
