Since she was a young child she spent her time studying and desiring to become a scientist much to her family's dismay who expected her to follow into the military footsteps of her mother. She changed her interest to politics after directly witnessing the injustice und inequality on her native planet . Because of her heterochromia she was considered bizarre and deformed on her homeworld and thus shunned by most of society and her family. Tired of her life on Hapes she left the planet to become a Senator in the Galactic Senate and changed her name to Gaminara Bennett.
