Adieu...
The news about the Invasion (coming up later) gave a few people a scare given our tentacle to the south. So much so that a few writers decided to do something about it and started a Dominion.
80-something posts in 48 hours was the response and we’ll probably finish it before the Invasion starts. So a huge thank-you to those that participated, an even bigger thank-you to those that coordinated (a lot of the same people to be honest). It just goes to show what we always say - this is the member’s Faction and when you have a will to do something you are quite literally unstoppable. Awesome (and no, I’m not going to inflict the song on you again…even though it’s now playing away in my head).
The second thing to mention is the setting up of GRIM. That’s the Galactic Republic Intelligence Ministry to you and me. If undermining foreign governments and going toe to toe with other intelligence agencies appeals then you know where to look.
The final piece of news is that we’re about to be invaded. If you didn’t know this…where have you been?
But seriously, the moon of Telti is about to be invaded. I’ll not list all of the rules here, you can find them in the sign-up thread. But the key points to remember are:
1. No allies
2. Two characters allowed per writer (and the character has to be either GR or OS as their main Faction)
3. For Knights, Master and Lords, you have to have been active and a member of the Faction since 10th April. It appears one or two were inadvertently told they would be exceptions to this rule. Hopefully they’ve been informed as we have agreed there are no exceptions as each potential case added another and then another
4. For NFUs and Padawans/Acolytes you only have to have the GR or OS as your main Faction for that character and you can participate. No cut off date
5. This is a ground battle and PvP decides the outcome. NPCs are permitted but they’re just flavour and will not determine the outcome whatsoever
6. We start sometime on 31st May through to 13th June
7. If you have any problems that can be resolved via a PM to the opposing writer, then PM Reverance. For the OS writers, they will PM me
8. If you think a writer has not seen your post, PM them. Use the OOC thread that will be put up. If you have anything controversial to say, it's better to make it private. A public criticism will automatically make someone defensive and we won’t move forward
