Adieu...
A short and sweet weekly update as my initial thoughts echoed what I wrote last week.
That Dominion is edging closer to completion and as promised, once we have 100 posts, we can consider which of the planets recommended we should go for next. And the 'we' means all of us. If you think we can go for them all, we'll do so. If you'd rather do one at a time, agree an order and off we go. I never tire of reminding everyone, including myself, that this is a Major Faction and is owned not by the person listed on the front page but the 500+ characters listed below that.
And that number never ceases to amaze me. Someone told me the other day we should worry about our membership because they thought we were getting very low. I refrained from reminding them that we have more than double the characters we had back in November.
But characters mean nothing unless we're active and I will say once more I have never seen the NFU community so buoyant. I know the Military would like more ground troops, but seriously, the work-rate and energy is awesome. And yes, it's true we're looking to replace our old ships. Many were over six year old in design so we're bringing our fleet up to date and so we can look forward to some awesome designs with capability to match.
And a big thanks to those that volunteered last week. If you don't know what I'm talking about, please check out the last news update as it's not too late to join in. Those that requested to be part of the working groups will hear from next week how we're going to progress them.
And...above all...you stay classy Galactic Republic.
