Adieu...
Well, it’s been a very busy week. And I’ll start with an apology. There will be no awards handed out today. No rosettes, medals or honorary titles. So if you only tuned in for those and want to switch off now and go and make a cup of stimcaf, I’ll see you next week. And if you missed the Leader's address last week? Shame on you.
OK, for those of you still with me – it has really been an exciting last seven days. A couple of weeks ago I delayed making this post for as long as I could, hoping we’d reach the magic 350 member mark. I fully expected we’d reach that mark by today – but what I didn’t expect was by how large a margin. We have, at the time of writing this, 376 members. That makes us the largest Faction on the boards. And we’re three times the size of the next Light-sided group.
No medal – but surely an opportunity for a gratuitous Star Wars gif?
On a more serious note, keep your eyes out for:
- An invasion with the One Sith
- An invasion with the Lords of the Fringe
- A continuation of our dominion on Attahox
- A continuation of the Damoria skirmish
Going around the Republic, noteworthy news includes:
- The Senate are discussing Alderaan
- They're also discussing moving the capital
The Combined Defense Force are considering a challenge from the One Sith
- There’s a Black Ops unit under discussion (but don’t tell anyone, OK?)
- The Republic has been in existence for 666 days (and counting)
