A by and large-worker owned company that pays and provides for its workers. A recent venture, the GLC was the brainchild of Yarkoran machinist and former shipyard foreman Xero Wran, who had the idea to create a wholly worker owned cooperative that would provide steady, simple work for the galaxies unemployed. Thus not only do we provide companies that most important industrial input, labor, we provide the ability for galactic communities to rise above and improve their lives through hard work.
We here at the GLC provide numerous services for our member workers and are comfortably paid and given lodging from its company barracks. The GLC provides on the job training and gives both skilled as well as unskilled laborers a chance at gainful employment providing local populace a chance at gainful employ.
Companies and Public works programs who contract out GLC members will not have to worry about paying overhead cost in wages and will not have to take anyone on in terms of providing room & board nor medical benefits and neither meals. All of this is provided for by the GLC itself, a worker maintained organization that acts as the middle man. The only responsibility of you the contractor, is a simple, no questions asked, one time pay affordable services fee in return for letting our members work your projects/factories, construct your equipment, mine your facilities, farm or fish your vessels etc.

***One time service fee nominally adds up to a base pay of 500,000 credits for unskilled work and progressively by 500,000 for further skilled labor ex bracket:
Unskilled Labor: 500,000 credits
Skilled Labor/Tradesman: 1,000,000
Professional/High Education Work: 1,500,000
Droid Labor and Processing: 2,000,000)
