Intent: Currently, the boards disperse duels in seeming disarray, somewhat an undertone to the entirety of the site. They are still awesome, but they occur upon the precipice of consequences and the drive to win. But what happens when you take those things away and remove limitations? I think people gain knowledge from practice, absent consequence.
What can you do: Absolutely anything. If you want to fight and just want to be thrown into a situation, we can do that. We currently have one fight occurring in the bowels of Jabba the Hutts Palace. Another is currently set in the backdrop of Tython, groundquakes and force storms amassed. And another is in formerly foreclosed business building, while being demolished. In the GBA, you choose whether it's canon or not. You decide whether that death will stick or whether you'll just press the reset button. Ever wanted to fight the best duelist on the site, but feared the death of your character? Challenge them in the GBA. Ever wanted to fight another Jedi...even though you are a Jedi as well? Challenge them in the GBA. You don't need to know the person IC, and the duel doesn't have to make sense. It just has to be a duel.
What are the rules: Rules are the ones you choose. Don't want blasters? Fine. Don't want the force? Sure. Don't want any non-canon equipment? Sounds awesome. Pick your terms and have at it. You can either post your own duel or have one of the judges create a duel for you.
Who can join: Anyone. All 7000 of your alts if you want. We aren't looking to go major, since, ya know, that wouldn't make sense.
So...come on in and challenge someone to a duel.
