STRENGTHS AND WEAKNESSES:

Ruthless Rhetoric: Gabriel is a skilled orator, and very talented when it comes to rousing others in the name of revolution. This makes him a dangerous person to any that may oppose his beliefs.

Cold-Blooded: His devotion to his ideals have made him into a cold killer, allowing him to commit acts that others might hesitate to do.

Brawler Extraordinaire: A life of fighting has taught Gabriel how to kill a man with just about anything at his disposal, making him an incredibly deadly foe.

A Bit Mad: Gabriel’s vicious nature has earned him a less than ideal reputation, causing him difficulty with connecting with others.

To a Fault: While his dedication is often a strength, he has a tendency to see things with a sort of tunnel vision.

APPEARANCE:

Gabriel is a calm, quiet individual, but carries a deep intensity within his eyes. He is often seen wearing a nice suit, along with a black hat. He carries his blaster in a shoulder holster, tucked away under his coat. His iconic vibroblade is kept in his boot, and he seems to always be itching to use it. Overall, Gabriel seems as if he is constantly ready to explode with rage, as if he is constantly holding it back. His main defining physical feature is the scars along the sides of his face, but asking him of how he got them would be ill-advised, as he has a tendency to only answer the question with violence.

PERSONALITY:

The cold, calculating nature of Gabriel is generally the first thing people mention when talking about the man. His creation of the Dunwall Irregulars was littered with blood and death, and it seems that he feels little to no remorse. He is a man of action, only using words when it leads to something more. He is not incapable of giving a rousing speech if needed, but prefers to keep his rhetoric on a more practical level. Despite his continuously bubbling rage, Gabriel tends to hold himself together with all of the calm countenance of a crime boss.

BIOGRAPHY:

Not much can be said of the man known as Gabriel Taggart, outside of his current reputation, save for rumors. Many believe that he was once a priest of sorts, who had turned away from a life of faithful servitude in favor of revolution. What is known is that he began making his presence known during the Sith occupation of Galidraan. He had begun giving talks condemning the Sith, which eventually became calls for outright rebellion. He quickly found himself on the run, dodging assassin and soldier alike for years. Over time, he had begun gaining a level of support, and developed a following of like-minded Galidraani. When the New Imperial Order rose to defeat the Sith once and for all, Gabriel found himself searching for ways to contribute to the cause. In the end, he decided that subterfuge and outright destruction on the home front was the answer. Thus, the Dunwall Irregulars were born.

Eventually, Gabriel would bring another into the fold; the madman from Galidraan himself, Tyrell Lockhart. He took a liking to Tyrell, finding themselves to be cut from a similar cloth. He brought Tyrell into the fold, and eventually gave him command once the DI began operations off-world. He continued to command the efforts back home, conducting constant acts of aggression against the Sith wherever he could. Eventually, Tyrell rose through the ranks of the NIO, leaving the DI without a proper direct commander. Thus, The Priest was brought back as the proper figurehead of the DI. Now that the Sith were finally pushed out of Galidraan, Gabriel decided that he would continue to fight for his people, no matter where it would take him.
