- Religion Name: Creed of Echoes
- Religion Type: Polytheist
- Influence: Interplanetary
- Influence: Solitary
- Symbol: Each member of the religious cult as a black heart tattooed under their left eye.
- Description:
- Creed of Echoes is a Polytheist religion centered around a trio of female Dieties: Izsyn the Goddess of Death and Funerals, Dygdea the Goddess of Shadows and Apparitions, and Mohyja the Goddess of Forests and Forest Beasts, collectively known as the Triple Crones. Each Goddess is considered equal in wisdom, strength, and power, with no Goddess ruling over the other two. They are symbolized through paintings, sculptures, and jewelry in entwined form; three bodies joined as one, though they are individually independent.
- Founder:
- The religion was originally founded by Clara Demor, who changed her name to Supreme Priestess Ravathyra shortly after.
- Membership:
- Membership is exclusive: meaning that an active practitioner must sponsor an individual, whom they believe worthy of joining the secret religious sect, for indoctrination. There is a ninety-day grace period where the sponsored individual must exhibit dedication to the religion's dogmatic philosophies. After the grace period, they are judged by the other members if the initiate has proven themselves worthy to to undertake the ceremony known as the Shadow Awakening.
- Sacred:
- The Book of Unione: The sacred book, which contains the outlying philosophies of the religion, the tenants, and The Word of the Triple Crones, is the most sacred and valuable possession any member can possess, besides the protection of the crones themselves.
- Death: They believe death is sacred, a concept that should never be interfered with; hence their appalled views towards necromancy and rituals associated with disturbing the dead. To the practitioners, those that pass into the afterlife are not truly dead, but reborn to walk eternally with the Triple Crones in Vortexia.
- Forests: They believe forests, known for giving life but potent enough to take it too, is sacred ground. Forests, like graveyards and tombs, are revered to be imbued with power, and should be protected.
- Forests Animals: They don't view all forest dwelling animals are sacred, or should be praised in acknowledging worship. There are animals that are weak and meek, meant to be food. There are animals that feared and predatorial in nature, strong and designed to eat the weak; it is these animals they respect and hold sacred.
- Ghosts / Phantoms / Apparitions: There is a mixed view on this topic, some believing those spirits that walk among the living are vengeful, or in a state of unrest; though not entirely evil in nature, but trapped on the mortal plane as punishment for angering the Triple Crones in life. To others, the belief centers around the concept they are troubled spirits who have fell short proving their worthiness to the Triple Crones, and as such, are forbade to enter Vortexia.
- Graveyards / Tombs: With their strong connected beliefs toward Death, areas such as tombs, graveyards, and mausoleums should never be disturbed, where the bodies of the dead should remain in a state of blissful sleep. The fear of disturbing such hallowed grounds, without just cause such as rituals and prayers to the dead or the Triple Crones, angers the Goddesses themselves; with a belief they have the power to pull from Vortexia spirits to exact their revenge in haunting and malicious ways.
- Dogma:
- Shadow Awakening Ceremony: In a hidden grove, the initiate partakes in a night-long vigil, facing their fears and shortcomings to emerge reborn in spirit and clarity to the trio of Goddesses. During the ceremony, they are expected to shed the skin of failures, love, and fear of death; accepting they no longer mortal, but are immortal children under the Trio of Goddesses.
- Vortexia: A mythical plane that pulses with a mixture of swirling dark and colorful energies that shift the very fabric of reality with each breath. Each deceased practitioner experiences Vortexia differently, being the only common denominator is they are sharing it individually with the Triple Goddesses themselves.
- Species Sacrifice: The term Species is a representation of the several cultures that thrive across the galaxy. The practice is not evil or nefarious in purpose, but a view they hold that offsets the evil and harm being conducted by species among themselves. Essentially, one life taken viciously should be balanced by taking a life of the wicked.
- Personal Responsibility: Members are strongly encouraged to take personal responsibility for their actions, words, and motives that have an impact on the galaxy. Every action has a reaction, so it is believed a practitioner should always be aware of how their personal actions affect those around them.
- Reverence for All Things Nature: Nature is considered very sacred to them, and as such, it is encouraged to strive to live in harmony with nature, its elements, and cycles.
- Gender Equality and Identification: There is no belief one gender is better than the next, and there is a belief noone should be treated unequal for their personal identification.
- Magic: Any practicioner is free to live their lives, and there are those that wield the Force and magical applications from within. Magic is viewed as a natural energy for personal transformation, such as healing or spiritual growth. It should not be used in malice, however, it can be if it's in benefit of the individual.
- Reputation:
- The religion has no reputation, since it's a secretive sect, with each practitioner taking an oath of secrecy. However, if the religion was known, it would be considered cult-like to outside viewers.
