TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS
  • Classification: Warhammer
  • Size: Large
  • Weight: Extreme
SPECIAL FEATURES
  • Pure Beskar Hammerhead: The hammerhead is made out of pure beskar rather than a combination with carbons. The pole on the other hand is a combination of Durasteel and Beskar in order to concentrate the weight on the 'crown' of the warhammer.
  • Integrated Rocket Pack Functionalities: Three miniaturized thrusters have been integrated upon the hammerhead's back, providing initial bursts of energy to increase the velocity of the weapon.
  • Protected Wiring and Tube Networks: The required internal insulated wires, along with the tube networks to utilise the chemical substance, are coated in beskar also.
Strengths:
  • Durability: The warhammer's head is made from pure Beskar, or Mandalorian Iron. This means that it is near-indestructible, even capable of sustaining damage from lightsaber strikes with little effort. Due to its massive weight and density, destroying it would prove to be an incredible challenge in its own right. The chemical process of the rocket thrusters is safeguarded by the layer of beskar covering the insulated wires and tubes, meaning that it is durable enough to negate the consequences typically derived from using rocket pack methods.
  • Speed: Surprisingly, due to its weight, one of the weapon's key factors derive from its speed. Due to the three thrusters integrated into the warhammer, it has the potential of outmaneuvering weapons of lesser weight and size.
  • 'Juggernaut': The weapon type's concept, enhanced through modern technology and the near-indestructible material known as Beskar, gives it the ability to circumvent kinetic resistances of the modern age. With it weighing several tons, combined with thrusters to give it an immense velocity and a small surface compared to heavy artillery, creates a concentrated blunt force which most materials simply can't counter-force. The warhammer, upon contact, will more than likely dent and even break the metal alloys that it comes into contact with, including other sources of Beskar (due to the compositions being of the same material, the resilience comes down to force output, in which the hammer would simply deliver too much force for a beskar chestplate to sustain unscathed).
Weaknesses:
  • Weight: The weight and size of the hammer makes it so that it simply cannot be carried by normal means. Due to it weighing several tons and having an imbalance of weight due to the hammerhead-concept of a warhammer, one would typically require a supernatural level of strength. Even if one manages to lift it with sheer strength or use of Force Strength, they will be unable to use the functions of the warhammer. One requires an exoskeleton of enough weight to keep oneself grounded, as the triple-thrusters will automatically make one fall out of balance, and even if one manages to keep their feet down their arms would immediately break and potentially split from the body due to overwhelming force.
  • Accessibility: Due to the aformentioned aspect of weight, the weapon has limited accessibility compared to a lightsaber or blaster rifle. It can only be carried around and wielded whilst one wears a strong exosuit capable of handling the mechanics of the weapon. This means that the weapon is only usable if one has planned to go into combat - if attacked outside of the exosuit, the weapon might aswell be a decoration.
  • EMP: The weapon makes use of internal wiring in order to activate the thrusters, meaning that the use of an EMP grenade would severely hinder the speed and force output of the weapon.
  • Mastery: A weapon with an extremely high skill ceiling, potentially moreso than several of the lightsaber forms, it cannot be used effectively by the common man. One requires years of training with the weapon in question, and one needs to have a natural aptitude for war. Certain species have a natural advantage over others in terms of using the weapon, such as the Echani due to their war-culture and Battle Sight intuition. So even if someone manages to get a hold of a suit to be able to swing the weapon, they likely will fail without having experience with the tool.
DESCRIPTION

Before the galaxy advanced into the use of blasters, nuclear weaponry and spaceflight, there was a time where warhammers reigned supreme. A tool which could dent mighty shields, overpower a clashing blade through sheer force, and kill men despite their armor - a time where blades were lesser things.

Clan Tharos of the Mandalorian Empire were indoctrinated during the Pact of Almera, founded by an adopted Echani man who wished to embrace both the ways of the Mandalorians, but also the concepts of his homeworld. The Echani species is renowned for their prowess in warfare, specifically through the use of fists and melee weaponry. They fight with conviction and emotion behind every swing and movement, resembling more of a dance than a duel.

Something which simply wouldn't hold up to the test of time.

The Echani combat style had many flaws, ranging from efficiency against armored combatants to vehicular units to ranged plasma weaponry too fast to merely evade. The culture frowns upon the use of heavy armor, resulting in their inevitable deaths once their agility has met their match. They once made use of energy shields to protect themselves from these dangers, but began to fall out of use as it wasn't the Echani way to make use of anything but the body or an extension of ones body.

Clan Tharos knew better than to adamantly hold onto these things - Kad Ha'Rangir taught them to adapt or succumb to their species' stagnation.

Over the course of eight generations of taught metalsmiths, a tool of war was created in order to compliment the traits of the Echani through harnessing the potential the Mandalorian resources they were given as a result of their accomplishments with aiding the Mand'alor. It was created with the premise of delivering the destruction Kad Ha'Rangir sought, harnessing the fury of Eshan and their people. Thus, it was given its name, along with a purpose.

The weapon was to be held by the Alor of the Tharos, the hammerhead was made by undiluted beskar, making it a monstrosity to behold, acknowledged as a masterful craft. The weapon was made taller than the average Echani through the use of a beskar- and durasteel pole, and the weight of it was naturally of immense proportions. The hammerhead was equipped with an internal system for three thrusters in order to make the weapon an unstoppable force in combat. Combined with an exosuit to enhance the body of the Echani and a shield to protect those who cannot defend themselves, the Alor of Clan Tharos would be seen as behemoth of a figure.

One would be wise to run from the Fury of Eshan, 'lest they succumb to its indiscriminate wrath manifested in the form of total carnage.
