NAME: Originally a series of atonal whistles. Sold as a salve with name Funky, then later adopted by someone in clan Balor.
FACTION: Mandalorian, member of clan Balor.
RANK: Teller of tales, forger of metal, singer of ballads.

EYES: Pale green, rarely seen due to his anatomy.

SKIN: Pale white with slight bits of pink.
FORCE SENSITIVE: No, but some people think he is.

Strengths:
Built like a desert tree: Like all Kitonak, Funky is heavily adapted to desert life, including the ability to store large amounts of nutrients, and a body that easily filters out many hazards, and resists extreme temperature quite well. He's also pretty tough in the physical sense.
Patience of an artisan: Like most Kitonak....Funky is slow...and deliberate. He can wait....and wait....
Knowledgeable: Funky is a good listener. He learns lots of things by listening. Like metal working, and hunting, and the stories of the old ways.
Crafty: Funky likes making things.
Good sense of direction: Funky seems to be great at finding his way around.
Strength of iron: You didn't think a Black Smith was gonna be weak in the arms, did you?
Big Chill: Nobody seems to bother the eternally mellow Behemoth.
Play it: Funky is a good musician, in particular he enjoys the flute and raucous poetic singing.
Weaknesses:
Wait a minute: Kitonaks aren't...too fast. Learn...to take...your time...
What is this: Funky is less confused by technology than some of his people, but he's still not that inclined towards anything more complicated than a blaster or a sword, really. Hi-tech gadgets and spacecraft elude his knowledge, typically.
Don't you dare: Kitonaks are often reactive rather than active about situations. While some may consider this passiveness, the truth is that Kitonaks tend to prefer to wait and see rather than waste effort without careful deliberation.
Sit a while, and listen: While he can teach, his instruction is like his own path--slow, meandering, and filled with surprising detours.
Not fond of caves: While he has moved past the superstitions of his upbringing, he still dislikes caves, even if he doesn't believe they are all gates to the underworld.
Other:
Smells nice: Kitonak tend to smell slightly like Vanilla.
Minimal fashion: When your body is already built to resist the elements, robes and loincloths are often sufficient.
Fight simply: Funky's approach to battle usually involves waiting for his opponent to screw up while staying to defense. Usually it takes less than a day.
The Egg: Kitonaks worship a concept known as the Cosmic Egg. Funky is not very devout, but will occasionally swear by the egg.
Squirm: Kitonaks do not walk on their strong sturdy legs. They kind of slither by shifting the muscles in their legs.

BIOGRAPHY:
Born on Kirdo III, Funky's youth was like that of many others. Endure the desert, dance in the rain, mate in the rivers, play music, tell tales, even vote upon occasion. Not often, though. One night, while playing his flute and whiling away the evening, he was kidnapped by slavers. Being too sluggish to be any good at most labor, he was traded multiple times as a musician in bondage.
Due to a series of events best described as "Preventing a Hutt takeover of a record company via international espionage and tricking reality tv directors into exposing the scheme," Funky ended up freed from his owner and wandered about the galaxy, wailing sick music in cantinas far and wide. Eventually, he came across the man he would call "Buir"--Taisen Balor. After convincing the Mandalorian that he could guide him through the harsh deserts, the pair traveled through multiple days of journeying, storytelling, and fighting to eventually reclaim a tomb. After risking his life to help the aging Mandalorian fight off a large reptilian beast, the young Kitonak, still only 15, was adopted by the elder and trained in the ways of the Mandalorians. While not as fast or even as tatented in combat as some of the others in his family, he has turned out to be a talented craftsman and masterful Keeper of Lore.
Funky now wanders again, attempting to bring honor to his Buir and to clan Balor, to preform deeds and craft tools worthy of legend and song. Barring that, Funky will instead find heroes, and make theirs songs known across the Galaxy. After all, what is the point of honorable heroics if they are left in silence?
