Description:

Designed to meet the need of a heavier fleet ship capable of brawling with the larger ships the Asahian navy would face, the Fubuki-class Fast Cruiser meets this requirement and more.

Wielding twenty heavy turbolasers and five heavy, dual ion cannons, the Fubuki can dish it out in even the hairiest of fights. The thirty warhead launchers situated around the ship give it that added punch whether chasing the enemy, meeting the charge, or slugging it out in close quarters. The ship’s heavier armor and added point defense make it a contender against other ships of its class while the Kaze Engine installed internally lets the ship outrun nearly every ship of its class. The end result is a fast cruiser capable of keeping pace with the fleet and blowing its enemies out of the water.

The Fubuki has its problems despite these forthcomings. Unlike its smaller brethren, the Fubuki is unable to bring most of its guns to bear on a target as the guns are located on either side of the ship. Also, while the ship is much faster than other cruisers, the Kaze Engine takes up far more space, making an engine hit far more likely. Finally, despite the heavy armor and weapons when compared to other ships in its class or smaller, the Fubuki will find itself in deep trouble when pitted against larger ships without support.
