Description: The newest expansion of Rendili Stardrive's FT series, the FT-18 is anew starfighter model out of Rendili's docks. Armed with four laser cannons and interchangeable warhead components, the FT-18 is meant to be a descendant of the older FT-6 Pike model. However, unlike the older pike model the FT-18 is smaller and does not require two pilots to effectively maneuver in combat scenarios. In addition the FT-18 also carries a chaf package that allows it to counteract enemy bomber's torpedo and missile guidance systems or detonate them if they enter the cloud. This makes the FT-18 an excellent starfighter for strafing runs against missile heavy warships and for providing chaf cover for larger vessels under attack from hostile bombing runs or warhead salvos. Aside from these marketable features the FT-18 Pillar also has an enlarged cargo space from its predecessors to allow them for long distance solo operation work as recon fighters.
