The Sith had regained much prominence within the galaxy by surviving the Brotherhood of the Maw and numerous attempts to destroy them by the New Jedi Order. They had managed to establish an empire within the Outer Rim and recapturing the Holy Worlds from the remnants of the Holy Ashlan Kaisereich. Such worlds had been placed under the dominion of Darth Carnifex; Twice-Emperor of the Sith Empire and arguably the most powerful sith in the galaxy if one did not count the current claimant Darth Empyrean who held absolute power over their entire order. But it remained to be seen if the Sith Order could remain together or would succumb to infighting as the dark side typically led to.

The Hunchback...they called him and they were right. The Ancient Sangnir Highblood had a mutation which bent his spine forming a hump, looked down upon by the few remaining nobility of their species for imperfections. Such thoughts were pushed aside as the Planet of Odacer-Faustin came into view of the shuttle viewport, a frozen wasteland and utterly worthless save for the Ancient Sith Academy.

The Sith Darth Sacbrous had attempted to unlock the secrets of immortality and utterly failed turning the entire staff and students into mindless monsters which were eventually eradicated. Vsevevii-Zygg was here for a singular purpose to try and obtain a genetic sample from the dead carcasses' perfectly preserved in the harsh winter weather amongst the ruins, and perhaps maybe obtain knowledge from the long dead lord's tower.

Clutching the golden cane tipped with a purple crystal ornamentation, as the shuttle door hissed and hissed. Steam flooding for just a brief moment as the hunched over sith lord made his approach towards the ancient structure in the distance.

"Let us glance into the gaze of the ancient dead for they hold the mistakes of the past incernations of our order."

Al-Khālī: The Academy of the Dead

The alert sensors sounded, there was something warm approaching as Seras looked up from the table. The drengir twitching under her knife as she was slicing into a section of it and they were working on more hybridzations to the creature. The ancient academy turned into a medical academy and research lab for biological weapons. The Garhoon sneering a little. "More explorers." She chuckled to herself as there were experiments still here... plenty roaming in the ice after they cleared many of them and with the crags designed to keep them out as well as the advanced energy bridge they had established more defenses for the academy. the black orchid able to rise and provide heavy fire in the worse case scenario. Her attention going to the scans when she was being cleaned in the airlock and the stasis field was being brought up to keep the drengir experiments from getting any ideas. The decontamination procedures designed and the air was sucked out as her mechanical suit hissed with her breathing.

As the distance closed between the Sith Lord and the Ancient Academy of Odacer-Faustin it became clear enough that the ancient ruins had been transformed into something else as a deep cavern split the main building from the outside world in the form of a moat. Taking into account that this was a rather ancient fortification design with the main purpose of denying attackers any approach into a fortress on all sides not covered by natural protective features. The Sangnir Highblood had the formidable power of the dark side of the force at his disposal but there was a chance however slight that the defenses would overwhelm him.

"It would seem that the Ancient Ruins have been reinvigorated. Let us hope that our hosts do not keep us waiting"​

He understood the limits to his body and that no one was truly immortal so instead of blindly attacking the fortress head on, the Sith Lord decided to go around the long way by directly entering into the cavern despite the rather choppy conditions below. Outreaching his hand to force pull a small platform of rock to him, and climbing on top of the manmade structure. This platform would act as additional support for his rather aging form. As the platform slowly descended down the rocky crags to enter into the academy.

The lift was going up as the scans showed someone approaching.. her interest was there but she wasn't looking to start blasting everything... someone making it over the wall still had the kudzu and 87th Drengir Combat Unit was in the open areas around the central statue. Plaants growing as inside the walls and domed protective area the weather was controlled to be calm. SHielding shimmering when the lift finally opened with a hiss of the airlock. Seras stepping out and standing there with her gold rimmed eyes looking at the being coming over the wall. "I would recommend caution... the academy is not as it once was and there are more turrets trained on your should you try and breach containment of the infected."
