Jho'Henig

Paaerduag with a drinking problem
Corellia, the planet of smugglers and spacers.

This planet was a homeworld of many smugglers, or, at least, it was somehow related to them (Jho'Henig really likes Corellian wine). Jho'Henig's ship, "Sorjusian Hunter", landed on the planet in the city of Coronet. His ship was full of rare and dangerous weaponry that he will smuggle to a local gang. He tried to contact the gang's leader and Jho, the first head of Jho'Henig, said the following: "Better pay a big price." The gang's porters came and started to unload the boxes of weaponry. Jho'Henig got 15000 credits for the deal.

After that, he decided to check out the city again and maybe get a cup of Corellian wine, it's been a long time since the Paaerduag visited this planet.

In case you're wondering, this thread is the galaxy exploration thread that starts on Corellia

Suddenly a ship emerged from the hyperspace routes and inside was Khan Morren. Trained as a pilot, excelling as a mechanic for ships, he had gotten a job with a crew that liked to smuggle exotic animals. It was a dangerous job, but when you needed the credits - what choice did you have? There were other reasons, too.

Khan woke up to a bucket of water which raged down upon him, smothering his face with a blanket of liquid that shocked him his slumber.

"Wake up you piece of bantha poodoo, your free ride is up!"

The one who woke him Khan was mad. What did he do? He groggily looked around and there was an empty bottle of whiskey at his side. He was up to his old shit again, drinking until he couldn't remember what happened.

"Fuck off..:" His head was resonating with pain, pounding, and throbbing while the alien harassed him about his drinking. He got up and hung his head low, with elbows into his legs and his face in his palm. He could feel swelling all over his face, and when he looked at his hand for a moment, he could see the blood. It seemed like he had gotten into it while drunk - figures.

As the ship landed, Khan was promptly thrown overboard in the shipping yard and told to fuck off in so many words. He didn't even know who he had fought, but whoever it was kicked the crap out of him. At least he was ugly enough he might not be recognized on any scanners. He made his way through the city and to the nearest cantina. He didn't have much, but what he did have would go to cure this hangover.

An evolved Consular-class space cruiser jumps out of hyperspace, descending towards Corellia and passing through the inward and outward traffic of the planet. The cruiser passes through the atmosphere and prepares its docking mechanisms when it nears the Coronet Spaceport. The cruiser lands safely and stabilizes itself for the passengers to exit. Amongst them is Fruvos Lono, exiting with his slim figure and tall stature.

Fruvos makes his way t hrough the spaceport, accessing his datapad, continuing where he left off on the cruiser looking at the creatures of Manaan and Balmorra. He accesses the consoles and checks himself into the city. Still having his datapad out, he heads towards the cantina in the hopes that he could complete a literature collection through Corellian contacts on Balmorran refugees from both the Great Galactic War and the Galactic Civil War, a subject he hopes will be the resolve to his anguish of such a past age. Fruvos taps his datapad and switches to Coronet structural schematics and analyzes the blueprints of the apartment buildings of the city's outskirts, hoping to connect his previous literature to discover more about the refugees and their creed of purity.

It's light as shit out here.

The hangover is real. He propped a row of fingers just over his brow, covering the sun's malicious rays of lights from his currently sensitive eyes. He dipped off into the same cantina, just as they would oddly enough in the movies, entering several people behind the two-headed alien.

The scene was something you'd expect from the closest cantina by Corellia's spaceport. Smoke, drinking, general pandemonium both in fun and trouble. Khan navigated without much trouble to the bar, sliding into the stool three seats from Jho'Kenig.

"Something hard."

The way he sat was very reflective of his current state. He sort of plopped into the seat, legs nearly collapsing beneath the weight of his body as he rested tiredly. His elbows found the bartop at its corner and he rubbed his face deeply with both hands. The barkeep would pour his drink and pushed it over with a big, ugly finger - telling him the price since he didn't know him.

"Yeah, yeah...Do you know of any jobs around here?

He remembered that he was about to be dead broke again, on a planet where he did not know anyone, with no way off. He took the shot and livened up a bit more. The harsh stream of liquid carved a burning path down his gullet and his throat. He winced and gritted his teeth as he shook his head.

Even though the music was loud, and the ambient voices exchanging between sentients was neverending, Khan picked up on the voice that was several bodies down from where he sat. His eyes perked up and he leaned forward, arms crossing and holding his chest from the bartop.

"Hey, get me another one and something for this guy,"

It seemed as though opportunity had coming knocking on Khan's metaphorical door and he was about to answer it. As the shot was poured, and the tender poured the other sentient with a glass of Corellian Wine, Khan swung over and around those between him and the alien before tapping on his shoulder.

"You mind?"

He gestured for them to move down, and nicely enough they did. He took his seat and aimed to tap his shot glass against the glass of wine.

"To adventures..."

He paused thoughtfully for a moment.

"And misadventures! Haha!"

He took his shot down after a clink before setting the bar glass down with a wincing twist to his expression.

"So, what do you know about all that?"

He gave the alien an opportunity to enlighten Khan who was starting to feel much more alive now that he was putting back shots. He would have another as the man spoke of his experience in smuggling.
