Friend or Foe? {Darth Naefas}

@Darth Naefas

Eruna and the rest of the Sith who remained had fled. The Empire was gone. Torn down by the Republic and the Jedi. A great defeat was felt on that day, one that would sting in the Sith for years to come. But hope for them was not lost. Many had survived and with their survival came the chance to soon rise again to their former glory. In time it would come and it would come when the galaxy would least suspect it. For the time the Jedi could rebel in thier victory, but Eruna, now knighted as the titled Darth Tyrana, would be there to lead the charge.

For the time she, her master, and many other Sith had retreated to Parkith to join the cult known as the One Sith. This was the new start for many as it was one of the few refugee areas to call home for the time being. Eruna knew many Sith were broken by the Empire's fall but she would not be one of them. For now she needed to mediate on things to clear her mind.

On the outskirts of one of the towns Eruna sat in a clearing amid a number of rocks juted about to form an almost perfect barrier around the spot. The only way in being the small cervas in-between two of them. She sat in the middle of the clearing, her two sabers sitting in front of her on the ground, as she breathed and mediated to herself.

Arvis walked through the plains, exploring the planet of Prakith. It was quite the place. Prakith. The resting place of Darth Andeddu.

The home of the One Sith more importantly. The place where the Sith congregated underneath the nose of the Republic. Darth Naefas...Loved it. So close to the Republic and they didn't even know they were there. And hopefully it would stay like that until the time came for the One Sith to strike.

And then he saw a red form that he knew. That he knew from what seemed to be an age past. Eruna Delmarra. A 'rival' apprentice for Korriban. He doubted she would recognize him within his helmet and when he began to walk over towards her, with his hands clasped in front of him, hidden by his long black sleeves of his robes, he called out to her. "Eruna." He said until they were within easy speaking distance.

"So you survived Korriban?"

She'd sensed him before he'd spoken but she did not open her eyes, not even afterwards. "Arvis." she merley said back to him. "So you made it as well. How nice...." she said, ending with a less enthusiatic tone to it. "By the way, it's Tyrana now. And yes, I did. So did my master. But it seems we both had the same idea in mind when finding somewhere else to regroup with the Sith." For a moment she was silent, as if still mediating, before adding "A shame about Korriban...."

@Darth Naefas

"Arvis Syphex is dead." He said with a monotonous sound to his voice. "He died upon Korriban with the Sith Empire." He continued with the same tone. "I have now taken upon the name of Darth Naefas." He said. But then when she mentioned Korriban his presence within the Force flourished with rage and pain that came from Arvis. "There is no shame about Korriban. It is only another step in the fall of the Republic." He said it as if he imagined the Republic itself falling before his eyes. "Darth Avara and I only prolonged it's resistance." He ended and he watched her sat on the floor.

"I see." Tyrana said, still keeping her eyes closed despite his tone and exertion of power in what he said. "Well congragulations on being knighted as well. Your master must be very proud." she said in a somewhat sarcastic manner. "But your anger about Korriban is wasted. You will need it for when we regain our strength and take the fight to the Republic and the rest of the galaxy. And the Jedi!" when she had mentioned the Jedi there was a slight sting of hate in her voice. It was clear that if there was anyone Tyrana blammed for all this it was the Jedi.

@Darth Naefas

"Do not try and tell me where to direct my anger. The significance of Korriban soars high above your head. Korriban is what it means to be Sith." He said with a snapping tone in his voice. She would attempt to tell him what to do? As if he didn't know where to direct his anger. Pah! His anger was directed towards everyone. It was a focused anger however. It was a hate towards the Republic, to the Sith Empire, to Darth Tyrana, to Korriban itself for being taken by the Republic. But Eruna was the one whohad fled before the planet had even fallen.

"Let me give you a lesson, Darth Tyrana." He said with a condescending sound to his voice. "Korriban is the home of the Sith. My species, and our Empire. Korriban is the most powerful place in the galaxy for Sith. Just based upon all of it's dark sided nexuses. Korriban itself...is the only planet that should matter to the Empire. And now the Empire is gone." His voice was still condescending. He spoke in a way that showed how he thought himself superior to her. Despite them both being titled Darth's and Sith Knights.

"You are still here, are you not?" she asked calmy, and still not opening her eyes or turning or standing to speak to him. "And you still have your people. Some many be dead, others who can say. Though the Republic and Jedi are not one for slavery who is to say in the case of the very species that bares the name 'Sith' in it. But the fact the Sith still live, you, myself, our masters and the Sith Masters above them, means we still have a chance to relcaim what is ours. The Empire is gone, but as long as even one Sith is alive it has a chance to be rebuilt. Pactience is what is needed now, Naefus. You should keep that in mind before bull-heading yourself into a situation you cannot handle."

@Darth Naefas

He shook his head while he looked down on her. "Not only does the significance of Korriban soars over your head. But so has what I have said. Not once did I say the Sith species is dead. Or gone. Or even enslaved by the Republic. It is the fact that the Empire lost it, is what is the problem." He shook his head, before he raised his eyebrow behind his helmet. "Besides. You are probably the least Sith out of all Sith before you. And Sith to come after you, surely." He said with disgust. She would say she was Sith. And then she would speak as a Jedi would. The anger it brought to him, it was almost unbearable the foolishness that she was saying.

"Your people ARE Korriban, fool. That is what I am trying to say." she retorted with an annoyed tone. "It was something I was taught a long time ago. My own people have soread far across this galaxy but Ryloth was our home planet. Suppose it were destroyed, that does not mean it's history and culture and all before it are gone. It is carried in the rest of the Twi'lek people. As is Korriban in the Sith Purebloods. You think too simply, my friend." she smirked. "That is why you make such harsh remarks when all you are doing is venting your anger at the wrong person."

@Darth Naefas

"You are in fact the one that thinks too simply, girl. Korriban is the home of the Sith Purebloods. But the Purebloods who survive their will not have all of their things, all of the knowledge of their home in their mind. Over the years the generations will lose more and more information of their origins. Until there is...Nothing remembered except it's name." He said as if he were speaking to a child. "You speak as if you understand what you are saying. Korriban is home to a relevant species, but you. No. You're apart of a species that sells their own women and children to slavers. Do not try and measure your race to mine, for you will see they do not balance out." He said finally at the end of his torrent. Everything he said he believed devoutly, nothing would say his mind, Korriban was the only home of the Sith as far as he was concerned. Any other planet was just simply a colony or something similar.

That was when Tyrana finally stood, pciking up her sabers in the process. She turned and finally opened her eyes, both looking feircely at @Darth Naefas. "Talk great about your people as much as you want, but do not sully mine when yours is no better. If they were cleary as superior as you claim then maybe Korriban wouldn't have fallen!"

"With Sith as weak as you defend- oh wait. You left as soon as you could." His lightsaber slipped out of his sleeve and he girnned behind his helmet. "Just like a coward would." Her taunt wouldn't rile him. She could speak bad about his race all she wanted. She could even talk all she wanted about Korriban. He never fell to taunts.

"Prove you are not a coward." He said as he spun the lightsaber in his hand and brushed two fingers on the blade and he fell into the makashi stance.

Tyranna egnited both sabers and stood in a fighting stance, ready to attack. But then she began to think on it, not the fight itself but what it meant for both of them to fight here and now. She smirked and said "This is ridiculous. For both of us. We use words, those are the weapons of cowards. And here we are, about to fight until we either kill each other or maim each other. And with the Sith in as dire a condition as it is it seems as though we cannot simply dwindel our forces down by fighting each other." She turned her lightsabers off and said "We may have the title of knights but we act like children, Naefas. Let's save it for now. We have a common enemy we BOTH would rather see dead, yes?"

@Darth Naefas

"A coward indeed." He said with disgust. His fingers brushed over the lightsaber's ignition button, and then the lightsaber disappeared within it's hilt. He slid it back into his long sleeves and he grinned to himself behind his armour again. "The Sith do not need you however." He said and both of his hands launched outwards to her and released a torrent of force lightning from both of his hands.

He doubted she would be able to protect himself from the attack due to their close proximity and the fact that she had turned off her lightsabers. But she definitely had time if she were fast enough.

Tyranna sneer before lifting her hands up to take the force lightening. Using her own force powers she did her best to fight back, eventually absodring it before clenching her hands to stop it. Her master had taught her how to defend frm a number of Sith attacks, this one included. Annoyed by his actions she used the force speed and elbowed into his chest. After that she brought her fist up and punched for his jawline. After that she drew both sabers and said "Such arrogance!"

He sensed the Force flare from her body and then his danger sense triggered. He stepped backwards letting the Force envelop him and empower his limbs. He stepped back from her punch, letting it past harmlessly past her face and then he brought his other hand up to block the punch to his jawline. She was a silly girl to not use her lightsaber right away.

She was right in front of him, she would most definitely be burnt to a crisp. Throwing the sleeve of his robes back, the lightsaber slid into his grasp, and he ignited the azure blade in his hand, and swung to the side of her calf, and then with his free hand he released another torrent of force lightning from his fingertips towards her body. She was right in front of him after all. Truly if she defended the force lightning successfully...She would be stronger than he thought.

Tyranna would not fall so easily. With both sabers ignited as he attacked she moved her hand down to block from one strike before kocking it away in time to cross both her blades in front of her when he used the force lighting. "You claim to be a Sith but you're nothing more than a child!" she said before breaking the force lighting away by sweeping her sabers across. "You claim to be better than me yet you're letting your anger above all else cloud your judgement. That's why I'm not going to fight you." She stepped back far enough before putting her lightsabers on her belt. "Not as real Sith do anyways." She took a fighting stance with her fists rasied and indicated this was how they would fight.

@Darth Naefas

He shook his head when she stepped away. Who did she think she is? She would have to choose a side. "You speak as a Jidai would. You say my anger clouds my judgement? You do not even underneath the first line of the Sith Code. You have no right to having the title that you hold." He walked forwards, the lightsaber still in his hand and he swung at arm to maim her quick and efficiently. He doubted it would hit her when he was swinging, so with his free hand he wrapped the Force around her to try and hold her in place. It was going to have to be the only way to keep her in place and stop her from moving.

Tyranna moved away from the saber swing then, as she felt the force grasp around her, she concentrated and broke it off. After that she manuvered behind @Darth Naefas and chopped at his wrist holding the saber. It would only make him drop it, not break it. She didn't want him broken yet. She wanted to fight him fist to fist, no force or sabers. Just as two normal people would. In a way this was her insulting him by saying he wasn't good enough to fight her as a Sith equal. She waited for him to turn before shoving her foot into his chest to kick him back.

She was a silly girl. His Master had perfected Mastery over the form of Makashi. She truly thought he couldn't defend himself. With a small flick of his wrist, the lightsaber turned upwards to just shear off her hand from the wrist and beyond, or at least just form a wound into her wrist.

He moved along with her when she had moved again however, and he shot his free hand at her foot, sending a force push from his hand and into her body to no doubt throw her across the plains. It was after all, quite a powerful force push.
