BURN FOR ME!
Let me explain this. I had made a character on here a long while back that was meant to be an alchemist. it never took off, and so I let it sit there. I went back through the PM's and the saved stuff I had, and found this. Now, I know the name says Shawn, and that's cus I put my own name in there just to be stupid. and because I had it for a girl character that never was really flushed out.
Anyways, what do you guys think of for this as an idea to have Tattoos to hide you from the force, or even do other abilities? Just want your input for the moment. As for actually doing this, I plan on doing it just with Akuma for now, and will then expand on it as I get better within the force.

Intent: To create an "Armor" that hinders the sensing of Shawn through the force.
Development Thread: (
Manufacturer: Shawn
Model: Taozin Tattoo
Affiliation: Shawn
Modularity: None
Production: Unique
Material: Taozin blood, Alchemized tattoo ink, Sith Runes
Classification: Anti-Force sense
Weight: N/A
Quality: 2
Special Features: The tattoo allows Shawn to hide within the force rather easily. WHile it does not completely conceal her, it only make her signature very faint within the force. Almost as though she has no force potential at all.
Description:
Shawn is know to be a survivalist. She does her best to be ahead of the game when it comes to surviving. And one way to do that is to hide. Or to literally hinder someone from searching for you. As such, she has devised a way to prevent herself from feeling powerful within the force, yet allows her to have to be required to wear heavy armor, or wear a trinket.
By using the blood of a Taozin, as well as ink that was invested into the blood, the ink can then be injected into the skin like any other tattoo. However, when done with the use of Sith Alchemy, it allows the tattoo to act like a cloak. Not completely hiding her in the force, but softens her force signature to be that of a non-force user. She can still be seen. She can still be found, however it's a little bit harder for it to be done. The ink is done in the Sith Runic form of letters across her skin of "Cloak." This inhibits the use of the Force Cloak effect within the force.
As with most force powers, the higher the rank you are warranted to be more powerful in the force. Your signature get broader in stature and is easier to find. Since this tattoo can only do so much, if she is a Knight or a Master, she will become more visible and the taozin would be null and void. The ONLY way to remade this, is to reapply the Tattoo ink, with the same concoction of Taozin blood and ink. As well, Masters of the force who are able to sense other very easily, will find it difficult to see her in the force, but they still can see her. Knights find a harder time, and apprentices even harder.
Another drawback with the tattoo is that they can fade. Over time the tattoo can and will very likely fade. Which means she needs to reapply it. As well, if she were to lose her skin, be it torn off, or her soul leave her body and be transferred to another, then it will loose the effect upon her. As the ink is in the skin. If she were to have the skin removed, then the ink would no longer be there, and neither would the ability to cloak herself.
As well, the cloak is only good until she uses force powers. Once she uses them, it gets easier and easier for others to see. Only by Not using her force powers, will the tattoo begin to work again. IE: She is hidden, but uses force jump, it's easier for her to be felt in the force. But after an hour of not using her powers, it once again conceals her partly in the force. One more breaker of this tattoo, is the use of the light side of the force. Should somebody try and cleanse her of the Dark Side, or use a cleansing power upon the tattoo, it will null and void the effects. For a simple use, it won't be removed from her, only prevent it from happening. However, if a Master or a higher rank performs the task, and aims to completely dispel the runes, then it will literally be burned from her skin.
As well, due to it's force like nature, Yalsmari fields prohibit the use of force cloak, and prevent the use, but do not erase it from her.
Since this Tattoo is also on her skin, it's not a real armor. It cant protect her against anything else. It ONLY aids in hiding her in the force.
