Following The Pathway Home

Dragging a crate full of weapons through the back streets of Nal Hutta was bound to draw some attention, but Jardo had to give it to the female, Nyx. She said the Hutts had paid the authorities off and she wasn't lying. Now all he had to do was jump planet, sell his goods and make some more money. Five Hundred Credits wasn't a bad deal for committing murder.

Something wasn't right though. Something felt off, different. It was almost as if someone was following him, watching him. Dragging his way back to the "skipper" meant going back through the Cantina, and he already knew that'd be fun to explain.

Jardo made it through though, no ideas how. In his head he just sort of figured that everyone was too drunk to care. Dropping his crate on the boarding ramp of the "skipper", he stopped again. Someone, or something was following him. he was sure of it.

If you want to join me, PM me

Upon boarding the Rogue Skipper and dropping his crate of guns in the corner, Jardo sat for a few moments, eyeing his beeping comlink system. He knew who the message was from, and that make him want to not answer it even more. Eventually however, Jardo put his fears aside and listened to the message. It was from home, and it was his father saying something or other. Jardo wasn't actually listening until he heard the words "come home".

Jardo had decided years ago that he wasn't returning to Courscent unless he needed to. Jardo deleted the message, closed up his boarding ramp and spent a moment looking around the docking port, number 101899. Hey, he wasn't actually sure where he was going to go. He had an idea in his head of going to Byss. He could sell his loot from the dead Wookie and find a decent sleeping area.

After going through the usual departing communications with the guys on the towers, Jardo slowly lifted The Rouge Skipper into the air, spending just one last moment looking at Nal Hutta. If possible, he didn't want to be here again if he could help it. Finally, when he realized he had to get away from the Hutts he lifted the Skipper higher, slowly making his way out into the atmosphere.

How Jardo was going to explain this to the Hutts, well that was a different matter all together. He didn't exactly have a phone book with all the Hutt's numbers on. What he did have, however, was the ability to call the main hall of Nal Hutta and ask for the Hutts. He, of course did just that. It wasn't worth getting Nyx killed.

The people of Nal Hutta turned out to be pointless. They offered him nothing he could use. Slowly Jardo let out a breath, standing up. He was in hyperspace heading for Byss, so he didn't really have much to do. The One Sith hadn't been in contact with him about a master or anything, so he was on his own.

Landing wasn't exactly easy. Landing on a rock was just impossible. After being directed to the back of a spaceport Jardo realized what he was landing on. It was literally a large rock. As hard as it was, Jardo managed to bring The Rogue Skipper to a half decent landing. He then kicked open the entry ramp and made his way out onto Byss.

Byss wasn't the nicest of planets, but if you needed to sell stolen goods and didn't want to mess with the Hutts it's where you went. The backstreets of the Byss capital was full of Black Market traders and wannabe pirates. Yet, before finding a pirate or two to sell his goods to he wanted to pay visit to the local Cantina.

Jardo was only in the Cantina a few minutes, before he found a man ready to buy his goods. After a short deal, the male took the guns and Jardo was off again. He hated staying in one place too long, and this was no different. He made his way out into orbit, and stared down at Byss. From above it didn't look to bad.
