Strengths:
- Cargo Capacity - The primary role of the FOBV is to construct a temporary base, or "Forward Operating Base." It has a large supply of Bi-State Memory Plastic
- Defenses - It uses an Anticoncussion Field, and Dura-Armor, along with a very thick hull. The FOBV will survive an enemy attack! Hopefully.
- Speed - Due to its extreme size and weight, the FOBV literally crawls. If it has to escape an enemy attack alone, it's unlikely to survive.
"Forward Operating Base Vehicle" is the "Alpha" variant of a line of Mobile Command & Construction Vehicles by Galderra Defense Initiative. Designed to be similar to the IM-455 Modular Garrison, or "Prefabricated Garrison Base," The FOBV instead constructs the base around it. Where a Prefabricated Garrison Base requires a substantial amount of flat land to be properly landed, the FOBV can construct bases in significantly less flat or appropriate land, as the buildings it provides are significantly smaller and offer the same objective, if not better. Unfortunately, the Bases structures, aside from walls, gates, and vehicles that other buildings may produce, are significantly weaker than the FOBV. They are made of Bi-State Memory Plastic, which can be easily torn down and reused, allowing reusable resources in a less than hospitable environment. However, the material can be created easily, with the right materials, which is why the FOBV can also construct mining structures. The FOBV can do part of the work by automatically starting to build parts of buildings, like foundations and walls, however for the more intricate parts, operators are needed.
