STRENGTHS AND WEAKNESSES :
+ Quick on her feet - lacking training in combat or otherwise, Fleur has learnt to be quick on her feet and is able to out run most people when necessary.
+ A gifted force sensitive - Fleur was born with a strong connection with the force and has the potential to become a powerful force user with enough training and discipline.
+ Shape shifter - as a half changeling, Fleur is able to change her apperance at will however, she is only limited to human or near human appearances.
- Untrained - her parents never organized for her to be trained in combat in fear of what she was capable of. However, she is capable of basic self defence, just not skilled.
- Lacks worldly experience - having lived isolated from the rest of society, with most of her knowledge coming from books, Fleur does not have much first hand experience when it comes to interacting with others and other seemingly day to day things for others.
- Has no control over the force - although she was born with a strong connection with the force, she has no control over it and only able to use it in desperate circumstances.
- Succeptiable to the darkness - as someone who had constantly been reminded that she is meant to walk the path of darkness, without proper guidance, Fleur could lose her way as her the way she views herself heavily affects the path might take.
APPEARANCE:
Fleur is a short young woman standing at 155cm who is human in apperance but with some of a changeling's abilities. When it comes to shape shifting, she is only limited to humans and near human appearances due to not being a full blooded changeling. She was born with alabaster skin, blue eyes and blonde hair which she has kept shoulder length since leaving 'home'.
BIOGRAPHY:
Born into nobility, Fleur was considered a murderer before she was even born. Originally, the girl had shared her mother’s womb with a twin who unfortunately died before she was born and reabsorbed. Unfortunately there is a superstition in the de La Fontaine family that a pair of twins born healthy was a sign of good fortune but, if one twin dies in the womb and was reabsorbed by their sibling, the surviving child is a child of great misfortune.
Unfortunately for Fleur, this meant she was a ‘child of misfortune’ who her parents could only look at with hate and disgust. Despite this, Fleur grew up with everything she desired as well as the best money could buy but, what she wanted most – the love of her parents was something they could never give her. As soon as Fleur was born, she was sent to live in one of her parent’s villa, filled with servants as her parents were worried that being in her mere presence would steal their good fortune.
Since her birth, her parents had experienced miscarriage after miscarriage. These miscarriages were not limited to her mother as any woman her father impregnated would always miscarry too. Fleur’s mother fell into a deep depression from miscarrying every foetus in her womb since giving birth to the ‘child of misfortune’. This, coupled with her father’s cheating whittled away at her mother mental state over the years.
When Fleur was 21, her mother tried to commit murder suicide to repent for the sin of bringing a child of misfortune into the world. However, that was also the day Fleur discovered her force sensitivity. What had happened on that day was something she could not remember. Her only memories of the day were of her mother informing her that she was a cursed child, unloved by her parents and a cause of all misfortune and her mother’s parting words with her as the woman died ‘murder’.
With nothing more then the clothes on her back, Fleur left villa that was her prison for 21 years to fight against her destiny that stated she could bring nothing but misfortune. The superstition had brought her much lonliness and sadness but she was no longer going to allow herself remain a victim of it and decided that she was going to change her fate and train to become a Jedi under the Galactic Republic rather than succumbing to supposed fate.
