First Steps.

The Baccara remained adrift within the Corellian Run, the route arguably one of the largest trading and smuggling passages used between the outer-rim territories and the core-worlds. At the controls of the Modified YT-1300, the young man sat buckled into his pilots seat staring out the view port to the dark abyss that surrounded them, only to be littered with stars and systems, peoples and broken dreams. Just shy of twenty-three years old, Zarack himself thought it an accomplishment to be leading a group in their goal to survive and build a financed and criminal empire on the backs of the governed systems of the galaxy; truth be told he lead none of his peers anymore than they had encouraged him thus far.

Zetha Vesh was the first of the group that he'd found, back on Coruscant who'd thought him to be Sith at the time and followed him having nothing else to return to in her past. Zarack had corrected her and gone the distance to educate her some more on the people she'd sought, soon changing her mind and seeing her enlist in his company.

The Second of his people, Syndri was of a completely different background, the former 'beast of Nar Shadaa' or so Zarack was supposed to believe. She'd defended herself with the strongest instincts for survival that he had come across and yet she'd had nothing but a life of isolation and deep yearning to show for it; he had offered her a chance to get off of the underworld moon and then hoped to see her stand in strength and take what she deserved like the rest of them.

Acaleus Thorn on the other hand remained a mystery even to Zarack. The other male seeking a mutual agreement, Zarack needed him for his contacts and financial aid while they sought to set themselves up on their own custom outpost built into the Asteroid Zarack liked to think of as Sanctuary. A construction still very much in the early stages of progress yet he had informed the Assassin of the job despite not knowing whether to trust him for exactly that purpose, wanting to be proven right and to be able to look upon Acaleus as one of their own.

Each of these people had their own strengths and weaknesses, as did Zarack but what was most important beyond their talents was their hope. A hope for a life that would benefit them, a life that they hadn't yet been granted in all their years of struggle and emotional strain. A life that they could build for themselves free of anyone elses degradation, of any governments laws or personal views that would push them down and claim their ideals worthless. It was their passion and refusal to stand with nothing rather than fight for what could be theirs, that was what Zarack admired about them all.

"Just a matter of time..." He muttered to himself subconsciously, his right hand moving to unlatch the restraints that kept him firmly buckled in, soon rolling his shoulders and arching his neck until it popped audibly, a small sense of relief leaving him as the air between his joints was released from the cartilage of his upper vertebrae. The Baccara had been waiting there adrift for over an hour now, her distress beacon open and calling to anyone unlucky do-gooder to approach and dock with his vessel, only to find that it was their possessions that he sought with a blaster and a lightsaber in his hands. This would be the first step in showing the others that they could earn some real credits. That they could fight and profit for themselves, finding the strength to persevere and rise up above their past histories that had only told them otherwise.

Acaleus was trying out a brand new sticky gloves he created. It was a start, as Acaleus was crawling through the ceiling when he saw the ship of Zarack landing on the hangar bay. He turned off and jumped, landing on the floor "After getting this vessel going, i can concentrate on my company" thought walking towards the hangar to salute his partner.

New faces have come joining the group. Different species "Yo Zarack!" said the assassin raising his hand as he was approaching the faction leader coming out of the ship. What was the plans or mission he had was an enigma. But Acaleus needed something to do against the boredom, even if it was putting his live on the line.
