First Meetings (CRF)

What do you get when you mix tunnel systems, a dark Alley, and the dead of the night in the undercity... well a meeting for a resistance group ofcourse. Solan sat in one of the tunnel systems that he had been given a map too and waited for those that received the coordinates of the entrance to the tunnel system to arrive so that he could show them the way into the place he would be meeting them at, if there were late comers he would have precautions to get them to the spot, though for now it was just him, sitting alone in the tunnel, and waiting for the rest of them while he played a violin he had brought with him... everyone needed something to pass the time of course.

Above the alleyway were several flights of stairs that hung on the sides of the buildings; fire escapes for the people who lived or worked inside. Darth Ayra found herself on the bottomless one. The ladder that could be lowered down into the alleyway was lifted up. Not that it wouldn't stop someone determined enough to get up there. She wore a Sith robe and the cowl of it was lifted over her head, concealing her facial features from view.

She lifted a pale hand into the air, in a welcoming gesture to Solan when she announced herself. "Solan Charr, we meet at last."

A little astrodroid rolled in to the alleyway, beeped twice, and activated it's hologram projector. An instant later, a flickering blue image of a tall cat-like alien appeared in the alley. Mrrew glanced around to [member="Alicia Drey"], and [member="Solan Charr"], his eyes flickering around the alleyway for any sgin of anyone listening. After deciding that no one else was there, the Togorian spoke.
"Is this all of you?"

Getting there was surprisingly easy. Avoiding Sith patrols, hiding in shadows, sneaking past groups of people who would have loved to rob her and worse; Kyla had to do none of these things, fortunately. Wearing a uniform she had borrowed from a female security officer earlier ensured the pesky Sith did not bother her with identification and the gangs of Coruscant knew better than to attack someone in a uniform, especially since the One Sith liked to keep their new playground nice and orderly and anything else was not dealt with kindly. Kyla wondered for how long would streets of Coruscant stay this way. The planet still had many Republic patriots. Just like her. Many supported the resistance in some way...

Her steps were sure and certain, the taps of her boots loudly echoing through the streets. She memorized the way towards the meeting place, taking out the map might look too suspicious, after all. It was after she stood just a few meters away from her destination that she stopped and quickly glanced around to see if she was not being followed. It seemed as if she was the only living being in this part of the undercity today. Rounding a corner, she appeared in a dark alleyway that was supposed to contain an entrance to a large system of tunnels. "I apologize for the outfit," she said, loudly enough for the others to hear her yet silently enough to ensure her voice never left the alleyway.

Ayumi Pallopides

Heir to the Emperor, Former Senator of Denon
Getting to the planet was easier then she had thought, the need for sith patrols and walking the streets less. The gravity leveler helping as she needed it and used the undercity sections to hide from view. Her blaster on her hip and with her arms crossed the senator walked up the wall and found the location in the undercity finally. A small frown on her face while she dind't speak yet, just thumbed the amulet through her bodysuit and waited to see if these... People had a plan to actually help Courscant.

Zarro's cane tapped against the ground as he entered the meeting area, his dark eyes scanning the area around him. So, tis was the resistance. This was his hope for once again seeing his boy. He prayed to the starts that they had the skills needed, as well as a mind. It took more than a merry band of rebels to take back the greatest trophy planet in the galaxy. Hopefully, these people showed tat they were more than just that. "Salutations."

Olidiv Kenu

Behold, a Swordsman of Legend
Olidiv was doing something he rarely did today. He wore a disguise. The Morseerian hid his lower arms folding into a tunic with padding, taking the appearance of a rather pudgy Cerean with a gas mask and a metal shade hat. He walked in with a cane, and a small pistol in the holster. He nodded to the group, his normally bombastic voice calm and subdued. "Sorry for my untimely arrival. I'm the slicer, Mr. Mask. I believe we've had a few chats about these affairs. Pleased to meet you all in the flesh, as it were," he said with a nod as he appraised the group. Several species, looked to be from multiple backgrounds.

The one with the cane walked like a rich man. A woman in a black jumpsuit, she looked familiar. Had he seen her at a Gala? Another in a military uniform, but the cut was off--and she apologized for it--she stole it to be left alone walking the streets, probably. Clever. That left a mysterious woman in a mysterious robe, a fiddler, and an astromech droid broadcasting for a...he wasn't sure of the species. Looked like a heavier Cathar.

(Sorry all, been really tired from Fair week, hope this didnt make you think twice about joining...)

"Hmm..." He looked among all those that had been here and set the violin down and looked to a small covering that he force open with a quick motion, leading down into the tunnels before he grabbed his violin and its bow. "Follow me." He, without another word dropped into the hole and began to walk with a quick pace, continually turning down different tunnels to navigate the maze of maintenance shafts. Sounds would funnel through the tunnel, louder than they were outside the entrances due to the close confines which would mask their own movements until they got to the maintenance room he was heading for.

He glanced over his shoulder to make sure they were following and then spoke to a VI that appeared on his datapad. "Resistance, are the background checks done on those here, anything suspicious..." This was said too quietly for the others to hear, and nor would they be able to see the VI from behind Solan. "No Codename Mask, the large feline is a member of a rebel group already, Two of them are senators, the red haired one is hard to trace as is miss Drey, and as for the last one he is simply a hired arm." Solan glanced over his shoulder, focusing on Drey and Verss for a moment before looking down. "How much further?"

The VI took a minute before it answered. "Several more turns, Overmind made sure the place was secure weeks ago and has been watching it just in case." Solan nodded and powered off the Datapad. "Hurry up you slow pokes, we got talking to do."

More beings appeared on the scene, prompting Kyla to watch everyone closely, as any of them could be a traitor or an agent of the Sith. To her surprise, the redhead recognized several sentients, people she never would have guessed were ever going to support a violent group such as this. Luckily, none of them most likely knew her identity. She was not a publicly known figure. Before they noticed the glare of her vibrant blue eyes, Kyla's gaze shifted towards the one who's organized this whole meeting, [member="Solan Charr"]. For all she knew, the rebel leader himself could have been planted by the One Sith to gather pro-Republic supporters, lead them all to a place where troopers already awaited them and... It would be a very simple, yet very effective plan of eliminating the roots of the resistance and sending a strong message to all those having a similar idea of fighting against the Sith.

Her suspicions about the man only increased as he disappeared in a dark hole and insisted on them to follow him. Kyla questioningly raised eyebrows, but followed him nonetheless. Slowly descending into the hole, she found herself surrounded by darkness before her eyes adjusted to it and she spotted the leader again. A quick glance revealed they stood in some sort of tunnels. The first thing the agent noticed were the homeless. Or rather the lack of thereof. This seemed like a perfect place for them, yet the tunnels appeared relatively clean and empty. This either meant the hatch cannot ordinarily be opened or that the One Sith cleared the place and put anyone inside to work. Or perhaps a combination of those, Kyla did not know, she had to keep up the pace to quickly follow the man to avoid getting lost in the maze.

Their footsteps echoed loudly through the endless number of tunnels and shafts and the redhead agent found herself wondering if these tunnels could be used to get under some important location. "Do the Sith patrol in here as well or are the tunnels safe for now?" Kyla whispered towards the leader.

"They used too, not anymore though, ive made sure of that and even if they did where we are going there are Jammers in place and before they could get a call out they would be dead and we would be gone." His eyes were cast over his shoulder as he looked at her for a few moments and noted her features, it was also the first time she would see his face itself, the features hollow and looked as if he would drop over dead, dark black rings around his eyes and his hair was shaggy and a mess under the hood. "Do not worry, i have made sure that this meeting will not be disturbed by anyone."

The "Cerean" nodded to his colleagues. The redhead was worried--fair enough given that this was a huge conspiracy to overthrow a military superpower on a planet. He sighed softly. Senators, that's why they looked familiar. Well, they had more chutzpah than most. Most politicians would sit in an office and write a treatise, not sit here in a room full of possible assassins and help plan a coup.

He smiled at the room. "If it makes you feel much better, Miss, there aren't enough soldiers on this planet to patrol all the tunnels. This old planet is full of places that are just nests for the concrete slugs and womp rats," he said with a nod. Hell, he'd been a tourist to the catacombs back when the Republic still had some semblance of control over this planet. His artificial face smiled weakly. At least his lips were in sync, although it took massive amounts of effort. His voice still sounded kind of soft and weak, though. He'd blow out a receiver if he shouted any.

He looked about the tunnel cautiously. "So, I must ask: What are we aiming for? This is quite the group assembled to handle all of this," he said calmly. "After all, we've got power brokers, warriors, and slicers, by the looks of it. Not a bad motley crew, if a bit off the beaten path," he said with a good-natured chuckle. After all, why not laugh a little?

"SImple, the removal of the Sith presence upon this world and its return to the galaxy as it should be, a place of freedom. I realize the Sith seem to have changed their ways but that is only for now as the Sith will return to the way they were before their return... i know asking of you all for help, and your coming here was and is a big risk but i ask of you this simple question. What will it take from me to get your help." He turned and straightened up with his eyes focusing on them and his breath caught in his throat, the room they had stopped in was a simple thing with a single table and nothing else, seemingly that was.

Zarro had of course followed these people the entire way, listening to their words, their questions, answers, and intentions. "All I need is payment for some of my larger contributions and the chance to handle the one known as Vulpesen Torrevaso, should we meet him." Zarro's true purpose was simple. Retake one of the greatest planets of the galaxy and find the boy he had raised. Nothing less, nothing more. Unless of course you count the pay of curse. After all, he was an amaran.

Even after being reassured the tunnels contained no presence of the Imperials, Kyla felt unsure about it. Maybe there were no soldiers in the darkness, but it still did not mean the group was free of traitors. Instead of asking why should she trust any of them, the redhead chose to listen and judge the others by their words. She could agree with what has been said about the Sith. They certainly tried to look better than their predecessors, but it was all just an act to gain enough public support to create an illusion of happiness. Happy citizens were much less likely to rebel. While what they did was far from creating a paradise, the Sith have cleverly adressed many problems ignored by the Republic, which obviously earned them much support. It was tragic that so many had failed to see through the illusion.

Upon being asked what she wanted in return for her help, Kyla looked at the rebel leader. "Not much. Just a word that if we come across a list of Sith informants, I can make a copy." Kyla said to [member="Solan Charr"]. Once Coruscant belonged to the Republic again, those rats could be easily blackmailed and forced to work for the GIA as agents. And GIA really needed more agents that were more expendable than others.
