First Meeting

Exploring the forests below the mountains where she lived was always an exciting thing for Ai-lynn. It was a territory her parents wouldn't have allowed her to venture into. Scanning her surroundings of lush trees, she spotted something that seems to be a cavern entrance. Trusting her instincts, she walked towards it and peered inside when she reached the side of it. It was rocky but there were a few shafts of light streaming down from the top, illuminating the path.

She hasn't met any aggressive creatures on the planet of Yashuvhu ever since she started exploring the region around her. It made her confident enough to walk into the cavern. She used to rock walls as a guide as she walked deeper into the cave.

This planet was...odd. To say the least. However something drew the ur-spirit to this place. Be it the luscious forests or the beautiful wildlife. Paimon thought though it had more to do with a particular feeling of someone calling to her.

Paimon wandered the forest, the midi chlorians drawing her to a mortal life. For now Paimon would stay safely in the spirit realm, then, as she turned over the hill she found her source. A young girl- with a lost feeling to her. These were the best prey.

The demonic spirit quickly made her way to her, the closer she got the more details were revealed. This female was- beautiful. She seemed to be all alone out here yet very talented at what she was doing as well, and as she took into the cave Paimon couldn't help but a devious grin touching her lips.

This was all too easy.

She quickly found her way into the cave- following just in front of the wanderer. While she knew she was invisible to the girls untrained eyes, with this much spirit ichor in the area she was sure the young mortal could feel her presence.

After walking for a few more steps, a feeling of unease washed over Ai-lynn as she felt the temperature drop in the warm cave. She assumed it to be her gut feeling which rarely failed her was telling her something.

She wasn't alone in this cave.

She stopped in her tracks and looked around. Something was staring at her at quite a close proximity but her eyes picked up no signs of visible life. Her breathing hitched as she felt her heartbeat quicken. It was a fight or flight situation she didn't usually encounter and this was unexpected. Ai-lynn backed up to cave walls and froze on the spot, her eyes constantly scanning around for hostile beings.
