She nodded and had another sip of her tea, almost finishing it. "Wonderful. I've had circumstances change on me before, and rather quickly. So being able to quickly adapt is vital." She pondered on how her outreach for allies was growing small. There must be a way to turn it around again, yet some of her friends are out of reach. They had not answered her messages. Maybe they didn't want to be associated with her anymore. "I am going to tone down my activities, so you can be glad about that. But I assure you that it won't be a boring time while you are with me."

Growl would laugh at [member="Lady Kay"]'s comment and respond with a subtle "It wouldn't be fun then would it?"

 

[Kay-Larr]

She couldn't help but chuckle a little too. "We'll get along just fine then." Kay got to her feet, finishing her tea before setting it down on the table. "Shall we?"

Growl would stand up and leave 7 credits on the table for the waiter to come back to.As Growl stood near [member="Lady Kay"] he could almost see that she was just a living embodiment of what his mother was as described by his father.

Growl would respond to Lady Kay by saying "Sure,i'll follow you again" as he lit another cigarette using the fusion cutter on his belt.

She smirked as [member="Growl"] said he'd follow her. Sure she let him do that once they exited the tavern, but afterwards, once they were on the street, she spoke up about it. "You know that you don't have to follow me. You can walk beside me. Unless you are planning on using me as a human shield?"

Growl pondered at what [member="Lady Kay"] had said for a moment and looked to her "I am larger than you,you wouldn't make a very good meat shield" he said chuckling as he shifted position besides her.

 

[Kay-Larr]

"True, but I'm sure that you could push me into the way of blaster fire if you had wanted to." She walked with him, sort of in the lead, over to the vessel that she had hired. Once she got near she pulled out her comm and let the pilot know that they were ready to board. As Kay waited for the access ramp to lower, she looked to [member="Growl"] "You didn't fly here on your own ship, did you?"

Growl would remove his cigarette from his mouth and toss it to the side.Putting his helmet on he would respond to [member="Lady Kay"] saying "No I didn't,I can't afford a ship which is why I am working for you".

 

[Kay-Larr]

Kay wondered why [member="Growl"] would be putting his helmet on before going onto the ship, but to each their own. Maybe he was just expecting trouble. "Alright. I was just making sure as I wouldn't of wanted you to leave it behind if you did."

The ramp was soon lowered and she stepped inside. Nothing was out of the ordinary, as per usual. So Kay headed over to the cockpit and let the pilot know that they were on board. "Time to head to Commenor, my good man and when we arrive, there'll be that case of brandy for you, as I promised."

There was a quaint passenger compartment and that was where she was headed next, to get herself comfortable on one of the chairs.

Growl was pleased with what [member="Lady Kay"] had to say as he followed her up the ramp aboard the ship.Looking around the ship a bit he found a nice spot to lay down and rest his aching body for the trip to wherever they were going.Growl didn't really care as long as he was getting paid.

No sooner had they both gotten comfortable, that she vessel soon powered up and left the atmosphere, set on a course back to Republic space.
