Kay-Larr
Sphaera Tea Company Owner
Kay had been calling quite a bit of attention to herself lately. As a Senator that should be normal, but the kind of attention that she was drawing to herself was not so much on the political front as it was somewhat personal. She had allies everywhere, yet she had enemies too. And slowly the latter began to outnumber the former. Even some within the Republic itself regarded her as being dangerous for them. But they just didn't understand....
No one did, really. It was why she so often worked on her own, hiring different people for different missions, different ships for different journeys. It made her whereabouts less easily tracked. Primarily she was in Hutt Cartel space, freeing the slaves being held by Sempra's criminal organization. Why the Republic would want to be allied with them was beyond her. However Kay did vote for it. But that too was for personal reasons. Keep your friends close and your enemies closer.
Speaking of which, the bounty on her head still remained, despite their capture and psychological torture. At least she thinks that's what happened. It's tough to recoup from being made to believe to be insane, but she was managing. Still white clothing, doctors, hospitals, white rooms, all of that still gave her apprehension. But thankfully in space, such things weren't easy to find.
And being in Hutt Cartel space as she often was meant that her odds of running into bounty hunters and Cartel members was high. More hired protection was needed. After scouring the holonet she read the profile of one simply known as [member="Growl"] and reached out to him, asking for him to meet her on Bakura. It was a neutral planet and a rather pleasant location with all of it's small cities, rolling hills and forests. With her request she had given an address for a tavern. Such things were better handled in public. It was safer that way.
