First days are rough for everybody

He nodded, eyes somber, rage in his heart, but also compassion. When she spoke his heart sank, it was as he suspected. Someone on the inside, one of their own had betrayed them for whatever reason. She shared in the same pain as him, the destruction had no reason he could see, nothing logical in his own mind. To cull the weak? Make them stronger or some sort of survival of the fittest mentality? The warrior could not make sense of it. While he had not known Verd himself, he knew his legend. The man was one of the most renown warriors of their age. Before he could open his lips to respond to [member="Miss Blonde"] and express his gratuity, [member="Victor D'artagnan"].

The exchange between the two wasn't pleasant, but such was to be expected when one criticized the motus operandi of someone like the powerful woman. But when the man stood, so did Silas. Anger was coursing through his veins, the man was outright insulting her, she who was offering a hand to him to help in finding and slaughtering the coward who razed Mandalore. He would not stand there and let that be insulted. As he moved to the guards and slashed them with knives, Silas bolted after him, gently pushing the chair back before moving after the masked man.

But as the two droids stepped forward, each looking equally menacing, Silas couldn't help but let out a soft chuckle. "I suppose you'd prefer they handle him?" Silas asked Blonde, more than willing to engage the man himself, though if she insisted he'd back down. He was in her house after all. The droids were impressive, and he was interested to see how they worked.

He felt a twinge of sorrow when he looked to [member="Nyssa"], she was innocent in this world so it seemed. Such a rare thing.
