Faction First Contact (SJO/Friendly)

Location: Kashyyyk

Bralin, one of the few Startreaders in the galaxy, had been exploring the region ever since he had taken his first job. So much of the galaxy was still unexplored by his kind, so it was incredible to exit hyperspace to a world that seemed to have so much life. He could detect the massive life signature from orbit. The large ship could also detect other vessels moving around the world, including one central location. He got curious, and decided he may as well take a look. It wasn't like he was the easiest thing in the galaxy to injure anyway.

With this in mind, the Startreader slowly began to descend into the planet's atmosphere, somewhat ignoring any other vessel in orbit, but avoiding any possible collisions at the same time. He was ready to figure out what this unique planet possibly held. His trip was slow, as he was being cautious, but it would definitely be interesting to see just who was here. What Bralin didn't know was that he was approaching above the Silver Jedi Order's home. Silver Rest.

Watch. Quite possibly the most annoying waste of time he'd ever experienced while on Kashyyyk. But some Master thought it would be a fabulous exercise in patience for the Trandoshan Knight. If they would have just let him go out and hunt Sith instead of forcing him to sit around like an idiot, then maybe he'd have more bloody patience to spare for them. He didn't even know Jedi were employed to do this kind of busy work...probably a ridiculous exception made for him in the name of training.

"Grgh," he grunted quietly as he slumped against the security console he was instructed to monitor. As if anything was foolish enough to brazenly attack or infiltrate the seat of Jedi power in broad daylight. But that was just it; they knew nothing would happen when they assigned him this duty. A few hours to reflect. Except all it was making him reflect on was how useless this whole thing was.

But then, something strange began to come to his attention. He was never an expert in reaching out with his feelings and sensing with the Force, but what seemed to be coming from directly above him was pressing on his mind hard enough to override his inexperience. It was just...massive. Too big for a normal life form. Immediately he thought of the Grandmasters of the Temple...but...it somehow seemed not quite as intense as their presence within the Force. This..it just felt big.

A quiet alarm beckoned his attention back to the security console, signifying that the Temple's restricted airspace was being breached without authorized clearance. He imagined this strange presence and this intrusion were connected, but as he panned a Temple camera skyward to look, all he could see was, to him, a normal freighter. Perhaps a little different in manufacturing than he was used to...but just a large freighter, nonetheless.

Perplexed, he was still aware that he needed to do his duty while he was here. Awkwardly navigating the interface with his claws, he eventually got to attempting to hail the ship that was going to be hovering dangerously close to the Temple if it wasn't rerouted quickly enough.

Should the hailing actually patch through to this strange ship, he would give a semi-rehearsed speech in his deep, growling timbre to the cruiser as it descended. "Attention: you are currently in restricted airspace. Regain altitude immediately or land in the supply and transport zone to the direct planetary west of your current position. Comply or...uh...was I supposed to threaten them...no...uh..." he muttered, his voice trailing off as he thought for a moment, before simply giving up. "Lemme put it simply, you're currently hovering above Jedi powerful enough to literally move your ship for you. Just land to the west safely if you've got business here, make it easier on both of us."

He would wait to see if there was any response before continuing, but he'd already begun silently notifying the necessary folks of this incursion, themselves probably ready to send a welcoming party to the landing zone. More than likely he'd be out there himself soon enough, but establishing a line of communication with the crew of this strange vessel was more important than anything else right now.

Bralin was surprised as he finally reached over the structure. It seemed quite active, and it was clear that it was pretty heavily traveled. The living ship was just happy with his find. This was something he’d never seen himself. But then a signal began to come in. One that came from the ground below. It was one that asked him to move or land, and... a threat? People powerful enough to move him? This was getting more interesting for sure.

“Please. I mean no harm. I will approach the landing area, but I lack the landing systems of other ships.” And with that, Bralin began to move towards the designated area.

"Just be careful then I guess, you can't miss it once you see it."

He then shut off comms, preparing to head out to the landing zone via land-shuttle. He thought about for a minute how odd that wording was, however...""I lack the landing systems of other ships." Something just struck him as off about it.

Ah well, whatever, it was probably just the ages of sitting here like an idiot getting to him. Time to see what this fella was all about.

Soon enough he'd gotten to the landing zone, awaiting the descent of the ship that had come around. Seemed he was taking quite a while. He opened up comms again with his own personal device currently at his belt, having recorded the frequency before heading out.

"So...uh...doing ok?"
