Finally, revenge

Alderann, not a bad planet, plenty of open fields. Plenty of room to fight, also plenty of Jedi. Plenty of Jedi and Jardo doubted that any of them was the one he was after. He had a fight to finish, one he started on Utapau many months ago. One in which he behanded a guy and got shot. Yeah, he was looking for the Young Jedi.

Slowly he shook his head. He'd make himself quite inconspicuous, plain robes with his lightsaber hidden up his sleeve. He'd even redone The Rogue Skipper as to make sure it blended in a little. He even sat there and got all the right permits to land in the spacedock. He was going just a little overboard, but it would be worth it in the end.

He slowly opened his mind, scanning each person in the area. All he could really hope was that the kid he was after felt him and followed him out into one of the fields. Maybe they'd duel through a town or two, or three. Maybe he'd end up dueling more than one Jedi.

Only time would tell.

Fletcher could sense [member="Jardo Snow"], though he couldn't tell for sure who it was. Friend or foe? He didn't bother with blending in, he was angry and he wanted revenge, nothing else crossed his mind. It was only natural, right? Besides, the Jedi didn't have to know about it, he wasn't planning on bringing it up to his master.

The Padawan, led by the force, was directed towards Jardo and slowly began to approach the figure with caution, was it who he though it was?

He felt it, he felt it. He felt the kid in the area, and he laughed. Months had passed, yet he could still feel the kid's force signature like it was radiation. Slowly he watched as the kid stepped in front of him, the field around them deserted. Jardo laughed, laughed because the young Jedi had actually come looking for him.

"I sense the rage my young friend. It seems to have grown since the last time we met. It makes you strong, but it also makes you big headed, over confident. It might be your power, but it will also be your downfall, your weakness. I, however, can control it. I can control the rage and anger, I can make it my weapon."

As to demonstrate the point, Jardo let his lightsaber slide from his sleeve into the grass. He wanted to prove his ability in the force hadn't diminished in the months he'd spent with The Hutts, in the months he'd spent without training, and in those few weeks he'd remained locked away, locked in the white palace tracking this young child. Jardo was different to most Sith, he enjoyed playing with this pray before he killed them. Yet, perhaps he wouldn't kill this Jedi. Perhaps he would tap into the rage, the anger, turn him to the darkside.

Man, he would be powerful.

Fletcher stared coldly at Jardo and drew the lightsaber from his belt. He'd only recently made a new lightsaber and had little time to get to grips with using a cybernetic hand. He wore a glove over the hand as it was easier to grip a lightsaber with. It hadn't necessarily made him weaker because he had used it as an opportunity to learn to fight left handed.

There was sense in his words, he could manipulate rage into a weapon, that's what the Sith did, but Jedi were forced to abandon all anger and were often blinded by it. Anger was a Jedi's weakness and a Sith's strength, which was why Fletcher had to stay calm. He forced himself to maintain a level mind or else it really would be his downfall.

The Padawan ignited his lightsaber. "You may be able to control your anger but that won't matter this time."

He had to smile. He had to admire this Jedi, the way this Jedi was controlling himself. However, Jardo knew it wouldn't help him, cause Jardo had force mind control and lightning. He was more prepared than last time, and he knew he wouldn't need to touch his lightsaber during this fight. Actually, he might need to. It was a little odd.

"I have to admire you Jedi, you actually stand there and want to fight me. Well, it happens to be your downfall Jedi. But, I want you to know beforehand. I will feel bad for this, I don't want to hurt you. I can make you the most powerful, but I guess you decided you didn't want to go down that road"

He smirked, lightning flicking across his fingertips, lighting the grass every so often. He was doing two things at once, aiming the lightning at the Jedi, but also forcing his way into the Jedi's mind, attempting to break him like he had the slave all those months ago. He had snapped those slaves, and now it was the Jedi's turn.

If you don't want me to mentally break you, feel free to push me out :D

"Well yes, I mean you did dismember my hand, my dominant hand at that." he said bitterly. His opponent appeared to have gotten away a lot better off last time, certainly not scratch free, but in one piece. But this time they had both grown in power, it wasn't as simple as last time, a quick lightsaber duel. This time there was a whole other level to the fight.

"Don't want to hurt me?" he scoffed. "I don't want to be powerful, I'm not like you, I don't strive for power and victory, and it's not because I'm a Jedi. I've experienced what the Sith do through my brother, right before I put a lightsaber through his heart." he said confidently. Secretly he felt remorse for killing his brother but he knew it was only out of self defence, one of them was going to kill the other and he had been attacked first.

Fletcher watched Jardo's fingers flicker with lightning and decided to keep his lightsaber ignited for now. Force lightning was hard to deflect but a lightsaber would be the only way of even attempting. He could feel the Sith creeping into his mind and quickly became on edge, attempting to push out the invader, Sith had so many more advantages when it came to the Force, powers that could only be used in pure anger or hatred, obviously they were a bad thing to have but Fletcher wasn't thinking that when he was at the end of an angry Sith.

Jardo's brain did about four things at once, in about three seconds. For easy reading i'll slow it down a little. Having decided he wasn't getting into the brain of the young Jedi, he pulled out. At the same time his left hand shot up, the lightning forking at the Jedi. His right hand had grabbed his lightsaber with the force, igniting it and powering his body with force enhancement. His fourth movement was probably his quickest, most stupid move yet. Throwing his body into a large jump through the fields, Jardo landed behind the young Jedi, the lightning only just reaching it's target.

He wasn't sure what happened, he didn't plan for what he did to happen as quick, and he spent a few moments trying to figure out what happened. Of course, he'd given the Jedi time to turn around, and so when Jardo eventually swung his blade, both men joined in a saber lock. It was Jardo who attempted to act first, palm outstretched, trying to push the young Jedi back with the push he'd sort of managed to grasp. If the Jedi chose to use the force to push back, it'd just be down to who was the strongest with the force, but if he chose to do nothing he'd fly back into the grass, giving Jardo plenty of time to launch in with a possibly killing blow.

Dilemma's. Gotta love them.

As soon as Jardo withdrew, Fletcher anticipated an attack and lifted his lightsaber to meet the lightning that no doubt came after. It was hard to keep up with everything going on at once but he kept his eyes on his opponent and tried to predict his next move. By the time he had met the lightning, the Sith had already moved out of sight. He quickly turned around and met his opponent's blade, barely.

Fletcher had to act quickly when his opponent outstretched his palm, he knew what it meant. He met the palm with his own, not much distance between the hands as they fought for the power to push the other back. He could feel the toll of the Force pushing against him, though it wasn't up to either of them who won this.

"You fight valiantly, and for that I must respect you." Jardo smirked, hands still out, the power of the force still pushing against both men, meeting in the middle like a small explosion waiting to go off. It seemed neither men were winning this, both men evenly matched in the battle of the force. Both men matched harder, clearly having trained after the battle of Utapu when Jardo walked away after being shot.

He flinched only slightly, but it was enough to break, pop that force ball building between them. Both men flew back into the grass, Jardo attempting to land it but instead he only did a flip, falling backwards and sliding across the grass around them. He watched as some single, lone tree in the distance swayed, and he wished he could stay on his back for a while. Even though he couldn't see the young Jedi, he could feel him. The chance that the Jedi was on his feet already was high, and Jardo brought his lightsaber across his chest just in-time to deflect that killing blow.

"Valiantly? You don't know the meaning of the word." he said, frowning in concentration. It wasn't easy and it wasn't clear who was going to win this battle, whoever lost would have a very strong force against them though.

Having expected to be thrown back, he quickly managed to gather himself and get to his feet, lightsaber in his hand. There wasn't any time to waste in situations like these, a second too late could mean your death. He brought the lightsaber down towards Jardo quickly and pushed against it forcefully.

This duel needs something to change Jardo mentally. Make him dark, a ball of anger. Basically the opposite of what he is now. Right now he's cocky, he needs to go deep and dark. Any suggestions on how you can do that, feel free

All his power went into that lightsaber. He pushed the blade from him, using the momentum to roll back to his feet, force pulling his lightsaber to him. He almost couldn't believe he'd dropped it while rolling. He felt like just a little idiot, and it was kinda embarrassing. Jardo looked around slightly, bringing his blade together with the blade from the young Jedi. Both men pushed out of saber locks, and both men ended up back in them.

"I went through to much to lose you now kid. Everything I had went into finding you. Now, you will die"

[member="Fletcher Lorcan"]

Fletcher smirked and pulled back from the saber lock, this fight didn't appear to be going anywhere at the minute so he decided to see what the Sith was made of. Two could play at that game.

The Padawan scoffed. "I will die? You couldn't kill me if you had the chance. You ran away last time you coward." he shook his head and swung the saber over towards his opponent's shoulder. Clearly he was angry by what he was saying, but this was only the beginning.
