Final Act

Taris.jpg
Location: Taris
Objective: Survive

The trip through space had been relatively quick, thanks to the Turhaya-class freighter that the two Jedi flew in. Last time he had flown within one, he had grown rather restless, unaware of the other features that the Jedi-specialized craft possessed. Leaving the large cockpit of the ship, Tugoro would offer a brief nod to those of the crew he passed, making sure to acknowledge them and their efforts. It was one thing to be a Jedi and fight evil, but to be a non force sensitive? He figured that it must have taken a lot of guts for them to participate in the war. Listening to the door snap shut behind him, the young Padawan would come to a stand still, craning his neck from side to side as he looked down the several corridors. Pivoting on his heel, the youth would turn right, making his way towards the training room, which was nearby the Meditation Chamber. [member="Maleus"] had been in a trance-like state for quite some time now, and Tugoro had no intentions of waking him.

Placing his hand against a console on the wall, the Jedi would step through the opened doorway, looking around at the equipment that was strewn about the training area. There were a few humanoid-esque droids that wielded sabers, obviously used to further one's prowess in lightsaber combat. The boy would over look them and he set of remotes, not feeling the urge to increase his blaster deflection skills. Instead, he would step towards a set of circular stones, ones that were similar to a set of Muntuur stones. With a brief nudge of his foot, the Jedi confirmed their weight, for they refused to budge to his physical efforts. "Yeah?" The youth would scoff, as he eyed the set of seven stones. Taking a seat in front of them, the Padawan would begin to focus as he crossed his legs, letting his mind concentrate on the force all around him. The force energy that was within and around him would bend to the youth's will, manifesting into telekinetic energy that would stream through the air, wrapping around a single sphere. A bead of sweat would trail down Tugoro's brow, as the heavy rock shook slightly, before lifting off of the ground, holding itself in place. Most would consider this feat extraordinary, especially for a Padawan. However, Tugoro knew he was stronger than this, and continued to push himself. The telekinesis would further strain itself, expanding it's reach and enveloping the second stone this time, along with the first. It would rise into the air, matching the other's height.

A brief static click would be heard over head, as the speakers within the training room turned on. The pilot's voice would be begin to speak to both the Zabrak and the human, informing them of their arrival on Taris. Lifting to his feet, the Padawan would allow the stones to fall back into place gently, not wanting to affect the ship in anyway. Striding towards the training room's exit, Tugoro would walk through the doorway, waiting for Maleus to make his appearance.

Taris.
The destination was meaningful. It brought on endless memories of his life as a boy. Scrounging like a dog through dirt for food. Stealing... Really anything he could do in order to stay alive. They say you are who raised you and if this was the case Maleus was the embodiment of such trials. Was he changed? No, not at all. In fact he felt worse. This was another trick that had been created to lure him into another pit-fall. Was it not enough that he had been turned? To live a life of a Jedi?

No. This was simply another test. Something that young Jedi could add to his repertoire. The ship had graced their the dirt. Insects scurried about the landing gears buzzing with displeasure. Inside of the vessel the Zabrak stirred. He sported a tan scarf along with a white tunic.

"It seems we are here.." He sauntered out of the darkness to appear by Tugoro's shoulder. "Indeed."
