Filthy Smugglers

The Reaper of Won Shasot
Location: Exocron

Exocron, a planet of smugglers, rumrunners, and a source for all manners of illicit goods. While most the Coalition didn't give a damn about, there were some that were of some amount of concern. Dangerous Sith artifacts tended to be at the top of that list. And that's why Dax was on the planet then. Aside from a personal interest in such artifacts, Dark Side relics tended to cause lots of trouble if left in the hands of...well any individual. And one had surfaced recently. What it was exactly, Dax still didn't know, but he wasn't keen on letting it get loose, whatever it was. However, he wasn't the only one looking for it...

Location - Black Market, Midday, Exocron
The air felt cool and damp, a stark contrast to the warm and refreshing air from outside where the trees sang and the sun blossomed brightly. The large metal warehouse, well it didn't feel like a warehouse. It looked as though, from the inside at least, part of a section from the under city of Courscant. Though, it was all just an elaborate setup for the black-market. A market where buyers and sellers of all kinds came to in secret to trade vital information, sell or buy powerful weapons, or obtain objects of either great or unknown power from ages long since past. Such was the reason Furor was here, he wasn't one to travel often despite how tempting the proposition was. Though, he had heard rumors of a sith artifact on sale on Exocron. Pursuing these rumors in a rather...well 'intimidating' way, he had found the relative location of the marketplace. Now the only problem was getting said artifact before any nosy jedi or other sith came barging in for it.

Furor walked amongst the metal stalls, his brown-blue eyes scanning among the stalls for what was going to peak his interest. He hoped it was here, it had to be. He had spent so much time trying to get information on the location that he didn't want it all to be for a waste. It better not at least. Furor kept his black hood folded back onto his back as he walked through the black-market, trying to keep a low profile. Better to pretend that you're nobody rather than go out and announce your presence as his master would say. At least he assumed she said that, or it was just wisdom to himself which was weird. Small traces of smoke and warm air billowed from vents on the ground, blowing over Furor like a small wave of warmth amongst the cold. Cold, why did it have to be cold here?

The Force rippled with life and intention, and intention abound there was. Good or bad, it flowed around the Master, unchecked, and easy to read, if one cared to look. It was about what the man expected, mostly bad intentions mixed with greed or ambition, small amounts guilt, but something made Dax take a proverbial second look. Someone was here looking for something, just like he was, the same thing he was. More importantly, they radiated with power, strength in the Force, moreso than any other beings in market, perhaps except the Rogue Master himself. Another Forcer.

The Rogue began to move towards the presence that he felt, seeking it out, wanting to know who and what the other being was. It was unclear whether they were Dark or Light, but the fact that they were there, that was enough for Dax to need to take a look.

Furor felt a presence amongst the stillness and silence of the force, a clawing signal somewhere amongst the warehouse. It was impossible to identify, one with his little amount of training in the force and two, because of all the other mixes of silent and waves amongst the force. Those who weren't force sensitive still gave off a signature, though it was blank. With all the people around, it was impossible for Furor to find wherever this source was coming from, yet alone if they were darkside or lightside, like trying to find a needle in the seas of Mon Calamari...it was nigh impossible, at least for him. Furor stopped for a short moment amongst the crowd, his brown-blue eyes looking amongst the crowd which walked about their way, though he couldn't see anyone who looked remotely force sensitive. Well it wasn't easy to tell per say, though it was the way they carried themselves.

Furor began walking forwards once more, the location of the seller for the artifact he was looking for coming closer by every second. His eyes narrowed as he looked around cautiously, nervous and anxious as to what was going to happen. He didn't feel as safe as he had earlier when he hadn't sensed a presence, despite it's faintness. All he knew was that he needed to get to that artifact first and then high-tail it out.

Dax could feel the presence move in the same general direction as the auction for the Sith artifact had been. Well if that was the case, business as usual...Dax figured that he'd find the other Forcer there, and then, maybe he'd learn more of their intentions.

A small crowd had already assembled there and Dax's eyes flicked from person to person. At first nothing seemed out of place until another man entered. The source of the power, the air changed when he walked in, electrified even. The man may have been untrained, but, even Dax had to admit, he had potential. 'Well this could be interesting' The auction was just opening up, other less important artifacts coming up first. Dax ignored them, instead watching the man.
