Kharnaz prowled through the market. He had his lightsabers of course, but he needed something more. More exotic, unusual. Something to give him an edge over other sith. And Mahporeem, he heard, was the best place for that.

Mahporeem may not have had the prestige of some other companies, but its ingenuity more than made up for it. He wandered the vast weapons markets, when he found a building that seemed like it had the most important weapons.

Kharnaz entered, glaring at the person at the desk.

"Get me whoever is in charge."

"Let's go! Hurry it up!"

Ronhar shouted at the Wookiee Troopers under his command as they moved boxes of weapons to and from the distribution centers. Ever since the failed invasion of Brosi, the Mahporeem Imperial Remnant had begun developing a number of weapons dedicated to fighting force users. Flamethrowers, Acid Rifles, Sonic Pistols and specialized slugthrowers made up just some of the many weapons that were being manufactured by the Imperial Remnant, with the intent to distribute them amongst the standard and special forces of the Mahporeem Imperial Army.

Of course, doing so was easier said than done, between manufacturing delays, distribution issues and even loss of certain pieces of equipment. Rumors abounded that some enterprising Mahporeemian merchants had illegally secured these weapons from Imperial distributors and were openly selling them, in direct violation of Imperial law. Ronhar had been asked to oversee some of the distribution process and to locate any illegal sales of the weapons.

Obviously, such a task could take weeks, if not months, to start producing results. As such, Ronhar was quite surprised when he received credible reports of a shop brazenly selling the weapons right in the middle of Chedemu Square. As the Wookiees continued to unload weapons, Ronhar pulled two of them aside to come with him to the illegal weapons shop. A number of Junktroopers were already outside, ready to raid the location at a moment's notice.

Ronhar asked them to continue to wait as they surrounded the building, on the likely chance that someone inside might try to run. Ronhar and the Wookiees entered the shop with weapons drawn. It was mostly empty save for two people: a rather terrified looking human clerk and a wolf-like male Shistavanen. Ronhar issued an immediate command toward then both, saying:

"Hands where I can see them! You are both under arrest for violating Imperial Law, Article 42-211. Both of you on your knees with your hands on your head! This will be your only warning!", Ronhar said authoritatively as he moved in to arrest the criminals...

"Hands where I can see them! You are both under arrest for violating Imperial Law, Article 42-211. Both of you on your knees with your hands on your head! This will be your only warning!"

Kharnaz turned around rapidly, snarling. Who dared to think they could oppose him? He took in the officer standing before him. Just another trooper, he thought to himself.

"Or what, little man? Or what?"

He took a step closer, bringing out one of his lightsabers.

Ronhar continued to keep his blaster trained on the Shistavanen in front of him as the Wookiee Troopers moved around toward the back of the shop, ready to take the clerk into Imperial custody. The clerk had seemingly heeded Ronhar's warning, as he was currently kneeling on the ground with both of hands on his head, though Ronhar couldn't help but notice that his eyes kept darting toward the back of the room. Probably had some sort of hidden escape hatch for situations like these, Ronhar thought. Still, it wouldn't do him any good since Ronhar's Junktroopers were already moving in to secure the location.

Of course, it might be fun to let him try, Ronhar thought mischievously, but he quickly dismissed the idea. He needed to figure out how he had gotten his hands on those Imperial weapons, and he needed to shut down the source of them as soon as possible.

The Shistavanen, however, just stood there laughing, seemingly unconcerned with the blasters pointing at him.

"Or what, little man? Or what?", the alien snarled as it ignited a red bladed lightsaber.

Sith!

Before Ronhar could squeeze of a shot with his ZB-41 Heavy Blaster Rifle, he was blocked by the hulking frame of the Wookiee Troopers who had moved into melee range with the Sith Lord, blocking Ronhar's line of sight. They tried to wrestle the lightsaber out of his hands, probably figuring that if they were destined to die here, they could at least even the odds for Ronhar. The clerk bolted the moment the lightsaber ignited: the troopers outside would have to be the ones to catch him.

"MOVE!", Ronhar shouted at the Wookiees as he attempted to find an opening without any friendly fire...

Kharnaz struggled against the wookie troopers, their immense strength combined was enough to match his own. With a roar he channeled his fury, and began to choke them with the force. The wookies let go of his weapon in an attempt to pry the invisible claws of the force off their throats, even as they began to be lifted up by Kharnaz. Kharnaz snarled, and threw them to the side where they lay on the ground gasping. He turned to glare at the captain, his lightsaber reignited.

"You will regret that. You better hope you have something better than that pathetic blaster!"

Kharnaz began to move closer, attempting to close the distance.

The Wookiee Troopers struggled in vain to relieve the Shistavanen of his lightsaber, their efforts proving rather unsuccessful. As physically powerful as the Wookiees were, they were no match for the Shistavanen's mastery of the force, as the Sith Lord lifted both of the troopers up into the air, chocking them in the process. With a snarl, he cast them both aside, slamming them into the walls of the shop. They struggled to get up, coughing and sputtering from the effort of trying to do so. Though they were still alive, they might as well be effectively out of the fight.

"You will regret that. You better hope you have something better than that pathetic blaster!", the creature hissed as he made his way toward Ronhar. The ZB-41 Heavy Blaster Rifle that Ronhar was wielding was probably more of a liability than an asset at this point, as any shots Ronhar took at the charging Sith Lord were more than likely to be deflected right back at him. His BG-D 6 "Outlaw" Shotgun Pistol would have normally have been a good choice, except for the fact that the weapon was likely to hit the incapacitated Wookiees. Ronhar would prefer to avoid any friendly fire if he could help it.

In a similar vein, should Ronhar try to throw one of his Rhydonium Grenades at the charging Sith Lord, he would not only hit the Wookiees, but also get himself caught up in the ensuring explosion. Ronhar had already experienced the painful effects of Rhydonium once-it was not something he ever wished to experience again!

As such, he only had two real options left at his disposal. Throwing his blaster to the floor, he unsheathed Burnblade and activated it, the weapon turning red hot within a fraction of a second. With both hands on the sword's handle, he met the Sith's charge, swinging his weapon in a massive overhead arc as he made contact with his enemy.

Jingling from side to side on his blast vest was the other option Ronhar still had left at his disposal. It was a temperamental device, one with a short effective range and even shorter battery life. Ronhar would have to wait for the right time to use it...assuming he lived long enough to get to that point!
