Intent: Provide a more standard weapon and upgrade similar to the FC-1
Development Thread: N/A
Manufacturer: Golan Arms
Model: FC-2r
Affiliation: Limited Market (Requires Permission or thread)
Modularity: Can Use Anti-Vehicle or Anti-Personnel Rounds (Switchable ammo)
Production: Mass-Produced
Material: Durasteel
Classification: Flechette Launcher
Size: Handheld

Length: 1m
Weight: 7.7kg

Ammunition Type: Flechette Canister
Ammunition Capacity: 12
Effective Range: 200m (Optimal: 75m)
Rate of Fire: Single Action
Special Features:
Two Ammo Types - Anti-Infantry or Anti-Light Armor
Lethal - This weapon is designed to massacre

Strengths:
Powerful - Lightly armored infantry and vehicles will have dozens of holes through them
Simple Ammo Switch - To change ammunition, change the canister. Every shot is loaded individually of the one before it, requiring manual load and reload.

Weaknesses:
Slow - Single-shot, and nothing is automated, the user must actively load, reload, prime, and fire
Heavy - The weight of the weapon forces any ordinary humanoid to use no other weapons, except maybe a small pistol

Description: The FC-2r is the Rifle variant of an experimental upgrade to the FC-1, making it weigh less and have more ammunition. It suffers with a slight range reduction, but its specialized ammunition allow more to be carried and fired. It isn't made to capture, and it isn't made to be an anti-vehicle weapon, like rocket or missile launchers. But lightly armored vehicles and averagely armored infantry can taste the devastation this weapon can unleash.
Vehicle Armor up to: 2-3 (On scale of 1-10 in armor strength)
Infantry Armor up to: 4 (On Armor Quality)

Alrighty, let's get this show on the road!

First, it seems that you're missing the Intent, Material, and the Effective Range categories, could you add them in, please? Thanks!

Second, how does the armour-piercing capability compare to the FC-1 Launcher and what kind of vehicle armour (e.g. civilian speeder, mlitary airspeeder, light repulsorcraft, battle tank, etc.) would you classify as 2-3/lightly armoured, could you elaborate on that? Thank you!

Template fixed.

I'm not sure how well that can be answered. Utility Civilian Speeders have integrity and strength for wear and tear and brunt force sometimes a hundred times more than a taxi speeder.

Generally, this has to do with armor thickness and material used in a vehicles hull. Probably anything thicker or better than 5 inches of pure durasteel probably won't get holes, but the cage will be rattled. The problem with answered your question really is even Tank Destroyers and Artillery guns can have 0 armor to help with speed and weight. Some tanks may even have less than your standard MBT or more.

I guess, to generalize it, but could make it bad... Light to early medium military vehicles?
