After the loss of her right forearm during the Eldorai riots on Tygara following the fall of Kaeshana into First Order hands, Farryn knew she had a big disadvantage in combat and unwilling to replace her lost limb, she had the gauntlet made to help compensate for the loss of her combat abilities. Both armour and weapon, this gauntlet offers Farryn some protection from attacks in combat as well as a means of attack should her assailant come within range.
Boasting a phrik exterior and leather interior, the gauntlet offers the wearer protection from lightsabers as well as electrical attacks, however, should the leather inside become dampened it will become a secondary conductor, amplifying the flow of electricity. Furthermore, due to its bulky design, the gauntlet does not allow for the use of firearms that are not custom made or have been modified to fit its claws.
