Farrina and her small unit of volunteers had attempted to hold the line as transports ascended. Potential victims making their escape from the doom of the invading menace that had ravaged the edge of Silver space. She had stared at the engines of the last transport, knowing full well it was the last vessel off the planet.

That she and hers were to be left behind as a distraction on the ground. Or some mustered reasoning like that. It had been a trudging affair, the constant shift back and forth with these monsters of the constant defense against their unbending hunger for carnage. To protect those that could not protect themselves against the horde that kicked and thrashed their way in.

It was tiring though.

There had been little chance for proper rest or recuperating while the lot of them had planet hopped at the first sign of the Bryn'adul presence. Some false alarms, others scouts threading the needle and probing for weakness.

The volunteers had fallen back to the bunker, Farrina dancing across the battlements with her lightsaber and blade trying to find purchase in armored hide. She heard the desperate call for her aid, the shrill cries of death that the comm-link could not hide as she lopped at the beast before her and set off to the bunker.

She had met resistance along the way, taking far to long to reach her goal as she stepped inside, covered in the aftermath of her fighting with cuts, bites, and gouges mingling her blood and the Bryn's. The doors slammed shut behind her, and she pushed into the depths for her comrades.

Blood and limbs scattered the areas she passed. Broken devices and shattered barriers before she made it to where she guessed the lot had made their final stand.

Had waited for her in vain.

She kept her cool, death a numbed thing to her with the earlier realization of her end being near as she stared at the pile of her volunteers mixed with Bryn corpses before some lean and nimble monster that smiled and waved a weapon her way.

Something smacked her, pain blooming in her shoulder as she struck out against the beast. A thumping in her chest as pain rolled through her suddenly. It drove her forward, in a finale of life that had her pushing through the pain using the force as she struck out in a violent crescendo.

The human and Bryn struck each other down, their final moments of combat ending upon the pile with her blade dug into its skull and her body failing in every way.

The force wrapped itself around her, attempting to stave off the worst as she fell into a near death slumber.

Darkness rose to meet her, wrapping her mind into a cocoon before it began to work as best it was able.

There was pain. In the dark that surrounded the former noble woman from Atoa there was only pain. A burning that tried to consume her from the inside out. Everything hurt, her eyes, hands, joints. In all her years of training she had not felt this kind of slow and excruciating pain before.

She had been well versed in ignoring torture in case of capture. Practiced with her own weapons to experience the pain she would be inflicting to best know how something would hinder or harm someone. She had been brought to the dangerous end of asphyxiation and brought back. All manner of pain to make her a better warrior for Atoa.

But this was something else.

She felt herself changing with the pain. Thoughts in her mind swimming in a whirlpool at what had brought her to this point before slowly fading into nothing. There had been something before all this. Some driving force. Something strong that had sent her to the edges of sanity to...fight?

What had she been fighting? Some great and terrible, thing. And there had been a reason. A driving force behind it. Faces flashed and faded. Smiles thrown her way. Features in the throws of pain and terror shortly after. Bodies around her in a fight. A stand against something that cast a long and dark shadow over her. A deep seated knowing of the end.

Had she died?

Then why was she feeling this pain? What had made her feel this way? Her thoughts continued, following the trail of quiet questions that had no answers, trapped alone and in the pitch black silence of her own mind.

She could feel something, a subtle growing drumming that drew her attention without understanding. A line of hope in the dark of her solitude. The pain began to subside and in its place a hunger. The need to devour, feast, and grow.

The pain shifted to an uncomfortable feeling of being trapped inside something tight, constricting. Her shoulders burned, her body feeling like a fire had been set upon her skin.

Something other granted her strength as she pushed through the muck and grime that surrounded and coated her being. She arose, flexing and testing her form as she stared at the pile beneath her feet.

Mutated Biological Information
Thick skin - Portions of her body have grown a thicker epidermis compared to a standard human in the form of a tight carapace. These portions cover large swathes of her body though not her joints. There are also scales in places which shine an opalescent black in the light.
Palor - Adapted from the genetic mass she was found in, her skin tone shifted from a pale ivory to a light green hue. While not terrifically helpful in any single regard, it could simply be a strange offshoot of the process, blending the genetic materials present in the beginning stages of mutation.
Eyes - When using the force, her eyes shine with a fluorescent orange, though normally her eyes are in the same coloration as that of a sith amber color when inactive. During her mutation, there was a development of tapetum lucidum in her eyes to augment her scotopic vision. This does lead to her eyes shining in the light of a flashlight or other sources while in the dark.
Secondary Eyelids - An adaptation to stave off the danger of debris and other possible unknowns affecting her eyes.
Claws - Her extremities have grown razor thin extensions to her fingers and toes in lieu of human nails which cover the ends in a capped fashion.
Hair tendrils - What was once human hair has been replaced by thickened carapace-like extensions that act in a similar fashion to Twi'lek and Togruta head tendrils by aiding in sensory perception.
Shoulder protrusions - Bone, sinew, and ligaments have grown from her shoulder blades. Each "wing" tapers into three digit-like extensions that are capped in a thick and pointed, nerve dead carapace end.
Muscle - Near every piece of her being is wound tight with muscle, making her both extremely tough, and heavy. Her torso seems to be drawn out longer than a typical humans, requiring extra muscle space for her wing protrusions.
Internal Body Cavity - Her internal organs have shifted, and with the extension of her torso, some have even grown in size. Her Atoan origin decentralized her heart into several separate chambers, and with her mutation those chambers have doubled in number. Her stomach has grown in size to allow for high calorie intake and her lungs have grown have again as large as a standard humans.
Second Lungs: Part of her increased body cavity mutation is a secondary set of lungs that function in hazardous or inclement atmosphere types. The issue being the process for switching is typically automatic in the context of brain processing capacity. When actively switching, the process can be rather involved and feels like she is choking while the process happens, rendering her helpless as she is deprived of oxygen.
Regeneration Lite - While having adapted with Draelvasir biology to regrow lost limbs and heal damage, her human biology restricts the alarming rate of the standard regeneration process without additional calorie intake.

TRAITS:
+ Athletic + A body made in near perfection to adapt to the barriers and obstacles that would be set in its way. It is seemingly tireless against normal convention of human endurance.
+ Keen + A deft warrior before the mutation, it has only heightened the combat ability of this mutated warrior to astounding new and deadly heights.
+ Wings + At this base stage of mutation, the protrusions from her back function as little more than extra arms rather than flight capable wings. They are deadly for combat as the protrusions are deathly fast and have a wide range of motion.
+ Dagger Wings + The range of her wings is roughly 3 meters in most directions at their maximum extension from her body, while 2 meters is the typical in combat.

- Hunger - Like the lowest cast of Draelvasier, this being burns with an insatiable hunger and will not hesitate to devour those weaker than itself.
- Large - With the large stature this being now possess, it is difficult for them to pass for a typical human or anything like.
- This an That - Aberrant is both Draelvasier and Human. While enhanced by these changes, their biology is largely human presenting with significant internal alterations stemming from their other half. This hinders their ability to use Bryn'adul tech to a large degree.
- Wings - Given the large nature of her stature, plus her large wings, these weaponized limbs become limited in their capabilities in tight spaces.

BIOGRAPHY:
Taking a dabbling from all the races of Draelvasir, the mutated form of the late Farrina Galland casts a more intimidating shadow in her second life.

41B-33-47 but good luck with that info.

NAME: Farrina Galland
ALIAS : Farni, Rina

SPECIES: Atoan
AGE: 30
SEX: Female
HEIGHT: 5'7" - 1.700m
WEIGHT: 168lbs - 76.2kg
EYES: Sapphire Blue
HAIR: Jet Black with silver highlights
SKIN: Sunkissed, suggests a decent amount of time in the sun.
FORCE SENSITIVE: Trained in the Force

STRENGTHS AND WEAKNESSES :
+ Jack of All Trades - Being discovered later in life than her brother has led to Farrina being directed towards a general knowledge rather than the focused vein of study like her brother before her.
+ Strong Willed - Being the older sibling of Tarish, Farrina has spent her entire life on their homeworld. Including around the noble bloodlines that helped shape her as a person.
+ Ease in Life - Farrina has never found any topic of study to be difficult to learn or master. Oftentimes infuriating her brother to no end.

+/- Understanding is Key - Farrina does understand that people usually cannot simply become accustomed to a new skill seemingly overnight. However, those skills usually come frustratingly easy for the woman.

- Driven to succeed, and feels the weight of what her brother’s passing more so than others. The force bond the pair had began as children when she was always attempting to guide him through the intricacies of life and be his caretaker as children. She pushes herself to change and be the same kind of beacon of hope her brother was.
- Perfection - She does not actively scorn people for failure, but as per her upbringing apart from Tarish, she gets frustrated sometimes that others do not innately hold themselves to higher expectations of success. She can be at times infuriating to deal with as she tends to push others to do better or more.

APPEARANCE:
Farrina is a plain looking woman. She is however a distinct contrast from her late brother Tarish. Farrina has the sharp features of their mother while Tarish retained the softer looks of their father. Typically described as driven and goal oriented, this Galland does not set out with a shrug of the shoulders and the ‘best of luck’ mantra.

Well groomed and dressed, the air of her noble life is still about her. Carrying herself with poise and purpose, she does not expect anything less than the same from others. Having come to reclaim the body of her late brother, she remains and makes the best of the situation with imports from her home.

Wearing the same distinct attire as her brother, it was revealed to be the uniform of the Galland family on Atoa.

BIOGRAPHY:

Tarish always had a connection with the force, even from birth. Farrina however did not learn of her connection until shortly before her brother was intended to leave for Silver Jedi training as part of an agreement between her families noble bloodline and the silver’s peaceful allegiance to the planet.

A force bond was forged between the pair slowly before coming to its final distinct form when he left, having been slowly put into place by Farrina’s constant presence in her younger brother’s life. She helped to change him as a babe, helped teach him letters and numbers, helped him learn to read, and took his well being to heart whenever she thought of things to do.

The near constant presence in his life formed the strong bond that alerted her to his death before the news could even be shared. Her family had been having dinner when Farrina had been thrown to the floor by the shared link the pair had. Described as though she was burning inside out, it took nearly a full day for her to recover completely and set off to the jedi capital on her mission to find his body and learn of what happened.
