Family Fun Day!!!

Chloe had decided to stay home during the invasion. She had the twins to care for plus the rest of the clan. Someone had to stay behind incase a few of them came here plus she could do some damage from here. Hack into some systems and what not. Despite their best efforts, they had lost the battle and it was plain to see this loss had crush them. It was only a matter of time before they came here. It was silly to think that they would just stop now. The thought alone made Chloe hold her family closer to her.

The woman was lucky to have her children and husband home and safe. She knew many clan members whose husband, son or daughter didn't come home from the battle. It was something they were all dealing with still today and it kept Atin busy.

Chloe also found herself busy with her side work and the kids. They were getting older and before she knew it in the eyes of the Mandalorian's they would be adults. She was more protective of her children than others but that didn't mean they didn't get training. Chloe wasn't stupid, they needed to be armed and ready. As such she taught them all she knew and for what she didn't she found experts. She expected they would gravitate to what they liked but they needed to be well rounded.

Today instead of everyone going their separate ways Chloe planned for them to spend the day as a family. There were plenty of caves and such that they could take the children to explore.
The children seemed excited at the idea and were off in their room getting ready. Atin she knew was around somewhere preparing himself while she got a few lunches and snacks ready. She liked being prepared with everything.

It was always hard to see the grief and unshed tears in a vod's face. The ad'ika sitting on the porch whittling on a piece of wood reminded him that it wasn't just Chloe and him anymore. The twins were home right now. And that could be them. A final hug to the grieving widow and a small pat on the youth's head was his goodbye. He would check up on them often as they transitioned. He was their alor after all.

Climbing onto the speeder bike he sighed and closed his eyes as the breeze rustled his light brown hair. War seemed to be an everyday occurance here lately and Atin Kandossii was tired of losing vode, both of his clan and other. A glance into the sky told him it was past time to get home so he activated the thrusters and sped off. As the beat up black leather jacket whipped in the wind Atin thought of his own kids. They had been getting training from their mother and their father, when he had the time, as well as their uncle Kal and great uncle Theoden. But it was nghh time to begin taking them on hunts. The twins were proud of the durasteel beskar'gam that Kal had made them but it was more then wearing the 'iron skin' that made one a mandalorian. It was the spirit.

Pulling into the courtyard, and bringing along a trail of dust, Atin climbed from the bike and smiled. Spirit was what they got from their mother. It took one hell of a woman to marry a mando, bear mando children, and be an alor's wife. But Chloe did it all and more so. He was lucky to find her and manage to hold onto her through all they had been through. Standing there he sighed as he felt the compound around him. This was home, the twins were home, Chloe was his home.

She was lucky that her children had yet to be called to war. They had been able to stay home thanks to her husband. He said they weren't ready and in Chloe's eyes they never would be ready to go off to war. In her eyes they would always be her little babies and she wanted to protect them. She knew full well that someday they would need to go off but she hoped that this day wouldn't come anytime soon. She liked her children just the way they were and she knew full well that she probably babied them far too much. That was her job though.

As Atin pulled up Chloe was just finishing up the snacks she had been making. She never thought that she would be getting this chance to start new like this again. A chance at a family but here she was getting all she had ever wanted and hoped for. She was quite lucky in that regard.

Putting all the goodies in a bag she headed outside to greet her husband. It was always a good feeling seeing him standing there in front of her. It could have easily been him but she didn't want to think that way.

"The kids are still packing up but I'm not sure what for. This is just a daytime." She smiled with a shake of her head as she walked over to give Atin a kiss.
