Private Family Bonding: Estrella and the Battalion

Hangar Bay - Leviathan of Danuta
Khefal System
Late Evening

The rectangular crates containing the new Nuetralizers had been arranged in five rows of 10 in one of the Leviathan of Danuta’s primary hangar bays. While the gynoids inside had yet to be activated, some were already customized, deviating from the base factory appearance. Each of their photoreceptors were closed, serene expressions borne across their flawless, surgically-crafted features. Outside however, there was a buzz of activity as a small group of Medical Nuetralizers, technicians and other personnel milled about the hangar bay awaiting the arrival of the Lady Consort, the Battalion.

Only then, would the Matriarch’s newest daughters be brought to life.

Calligenia Io considered this to be a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. The activation of a new sister (or brother!) was always a joyful occasion, but to be among the first to see a new Nuetralizer model was something else entirely. She had downloaded the anatomical, physiological, and technical manuals on the new Pilot Nuetralizers the day before, knowing that soon, she would be called to fix them. For now, she had been tasked with examining each of the Nuetralizers, establishing records, and performing any assessments should it be deemed necessary. However, she didn’t expect to be called on for the latter duty. The Pilots had been quality-checked again and again and again before their delivery. If something was wrong with one of the new sisters, then Sword Herald would have quite a bit of explaining to do.

Nevertheless, Calligenia pushed the thought out of her mind, especially as her photoreceptors glanced over one Pilot in particular who bore a loose resemblance to herself, at least in terms of physical stature. Upon seeing her, the gynoid could not help but to smile, before moving on to look over the others…
