HISTORICAL INFORMATION
Due to the recent discovery of Tamora, very little is known about the fox-like species called the Falurki. There are few documented sightings of these creatures due to their fear of unknown creatures and their nature of just ‘fleeing’ as they typically do to escape either angry farmers or hungry predators. These creatures resemble a mix of a racoon and fox. A fox due to their physical appearance, and a raccoon due to their thieving nature and their tendency to steal people’s food and sometimes other, miscellaneous items. Falurki dens have been found that are filled with junk, or just miscellaneous items from farmers that they stole. These items can include, boots, small hand-held objects, and other small items that they happen to pick up for an unknown reason.
OUT OF CHARACTER INFORMATION
Intent: To create an adorable and cute fox-like creature to inhabit Tamora and add more life to the planet, also to create a cute creature that people can use as pets

Description:
Falurki, although in the millions, are hard to find for both the untrained eye, and the hunter’s eye. Despite their typical red coloring, Falurkri are quick and agile and often try to stay out of sight of other animals out of fear of being spotted by any natural predators. These animals can have a semi-wide range of fur colors, though typically most will be a mix of Red and brown, Red and hazel, or just plain Red. The creatures are covered from head to toe in fur and their nails greatly resemble that of a fox, although with either white or black stripes going across it horizontally in a random pattern. Small whiskers dot out from the cheeks of the Falkuri, acting as ‘sensors’ to help detect vibrations in the air to avoid predators, hunters, trappers, or avid photographers vying for the best picture. They have short, pointed ear similar to that of a dog’s and raccoons. In fact, the Falurki actually act like racoons, often stealing people’s things or small amounts of their food. Falurki have small, pointed teeth which help with chewing up small lizards, insects, and shelled fruits.

The only known ‘subspecies’ or offshoot of the Falurki is the Falurki-supra. A Falurki-supra is twice the size of a regular Falurki and these creatures primarily eat meat though they can eat a few, select fruits. The Falurki-supra inhabits some very remote jungles of Tamora, specifically the ones high up in the mountains or on the undisturbed plateaus that rise high above the jungles.

General behavior:
Falurki are solitary animals, rarely if ever seeking out the company of others of their species. With this, however, they are often friendly with other members of their species that they meet, sometimes even ‘play-fighting’ with each other for fun. During mating season, Falurki will seek out each other for mating. If two males stumble across one female, the female will select whichever Falurki has the more beautiful and clean coat, no battles erupt among males Falurki as they are docile creatures, preferring to flee rather than fight as it’s what they’re best at. Once mated and baby Falurki are around, the male and female will look over the cubs until seven and a half weeks, where they will leave their den and go out with their young, teaching them to skillfully climb among the branches and catch lizards and large insects.
