Strengths:
Horticulturist/Herbalist: A strange interest and hobby for an urban-dweller, Fahlv picked up the interest from her Drovian "Uncle" Fajyk Vosrin when she was a kit. This interest may have come from the Force's blessing to begin with, as the girl is rather gifted with the ability to affect plant life, in addition to interest in the subject matter. A knowledge of preparing herbal remedies is easily within her capabilities.
Athlete's Endurance: Even before she was a Jedi, Fahlv had the bizarre kithood hobby of exploring nearly every inch of the city she was raised in. Skipping, climbing and wandering with boys across many different species all over the urban environment honed the Amaran and her friends alike into strong and courageous explorers over a good number of years.
The Silent Tactician: Always a closet intellectual (to this day she tries to hide her reading around non-Jedi, for some reason), Fahlv spent her evenings under glow lamps and around lanterns merely for the sake of reading, either swashbuckling adventure stories, herbology, mechanics and the history of warfare, among other things. Of those many subjects, the history of warfare and those bizarre adventurer stories both served to hone and sharpen a mind that came to value, appreciate and occasionally make use of those same situational ideas, even if it was just against nothing more than thuggish bullies growing up.
Urban Gymnast/Parkour: Fahlv, ever the urban tomboy as a kit, during her urban explorations, eventually came to the age where she and her guy friends got into the Galaxy-renowned sport of parkour. Honing the abilities of jumping, situational tactics (observation and reading-based) and learning the workings of the environment (and unknowingly aided by the Force) over several years led the Amaran girl to eventually perform impressive leaps, twists, turns and impressive speeds, even without the Force's aid.
Weaknesses:
Arrogance: Back when she was a civilian and was running with a local swoop gang (however briefly) on Brentaal IV, exuding a tough exterior was necessary to survive. While her recent Jedi training has enabled her to shed off vain externalities of toughness, Fahlv still internalized a certain amount of arrogance due to her (secret) intellectual proclivities all throughout her life.
Anger Issues: Probably due to a rebellious streak combined with the slightest tendency to neglect (her parents were both successful businesspeople, after all) that left her often alone, as well as having faced bullying growing up, but this dark-furred Amaran is quick-tempered and has little patience for anything she's not very good at. She's stubborn and resistant to engage in activities that others can do better. Why not leave it to them?
Mute: Obviously, this limits communication skills in certain contexts, especially at a distance - a comlink can only do so much.
Stop Hitting Yourself: A petite, slim frame such as hers, even despite her athletic ability, can still be overpowered by vastly stronger and larger species.
Appearance:
Biography: Born to a neglectful father and a spice addict mother in the capital of Brentaal IV, Fahlv never did realize just how lucky she was to be neglected, as her father gave her up for adoption after her mother died in childbirth, thus sparing her a dismal fate. Adopted by a well-to-do mixed-species couple - a Neimoidian father and a Quarren mother - of an upper-middle-class lifestyle, the Amaran never bothered asking too much about her natural parents, merely choosing to believe her father's words that "they weren't right for her" and that would have been a life of unhappiness had she remained behind. Their adopted daughter's muteness was never a problem in their household, and sign-language was learned along with Basic at the earliest opportunity. A naturally intelligent girl, Fahlv easily took to learning, even if she would keep it a secret over the course of her life.
While her parents were good and caring people, they were successful in their respective fields: her father crafted droids for a living and her mother was a fishmonger. Fahlv would often aid her mother growing up, diving into Brentaal IV's seas to retrieve shellfish and larger aquatic lifeforms, aided by a speargun. When working with her father, she learned - and grew to greatly appreciate - the intricacies of droidcraft and working with machines. During the summer months, the Amaran kept a different plant - as many as she could manage to find seeds for from as many different worlds as she learned about - every season, tending it in her room and growing it, until she was able to sell the end result at the end of the summer via her father's workplace.
Fahlv wasn't without a rebellious streak, and for some odd reason, hers manifested early. The eight year old Amaran fell in with, of all things, a Swoop Gang. Her secret friend in this gang was the second-in-command, a Drovian (don't laugh) with a specially made, GARGANTUAN Swoop Bike that would reach speeds that made the adult and child's respective hearts SOAR nearly as fast and as far as the bike itself would! The Amaran, over the next few years, came to deeply value the life wisdom, advice, courage and integrity of her "Uncle" Fajyk Vosrin, and she learned more about mechanics and vehicles from him, as well gaining an appreciation for introspection, individualism and philosophy that her kithood friends simply couldn't provide her with. Even as the children began to approach the cusp of adolescence, it seemed that the Force would conspire to bring them apart.
At the age of eleven, while Fahlv's parents and her were sheltering a stranger from a storm, the aged man revealed himself as a traveling Jedi, as he had been led the call of the Force to their home; with a blood test, it was revealed and shared with the Amaran and her parents that, if they agreed, that their eccentric adopted kid had the potential to become a Jedi. Acceptance of the opportunity would lead to furthering her education, guaranteeing her future and leading her to increase in wisdom, as well as the chance to explore the great Galaxy. Her mother and Father were excited at the prospect for their bored little rebel, and they agreed wholeheartedly (as did Fahlv), and, after another week had passed, for the first time, the young Amaran left Brentaal IV for the first time, happily traveling away on a starship, with the promise to return periodically...
