Where None is a man in a space suit hanging on to an engine, Average is typical defense, and Extreme is heaviest defense with heavy armor plating and multiple layers of powerful shields. Defensive Ratings are scaled in relation to the type of ship, meaning a satellite will not equate to a orbital platform. You should list particular systems under advanced systems. Please link to all Factory Submissions used. Links: Approved Technology)

  • Speed Rating: (Choose from: None, Very Low, Low, Average, High, Very High, Extreme. How fast is your ship in normal space? How fast can it take off, how fast can it speed through a planet's atmosphere? This is relative to the size of the station (e.g. a satellite with Low Speed will be quicker than an Orbital Platform with a Low Speed.)
  • Hyperdrive: (Does this ship have a hyperdrive? If this ship has a hyperdrive how fast is it? The lower the number, the faster the ship is, you may choose decimals. Any speed below 1.0 requires the hyperdrive to be added to the ship’s strengths and accordingly balanced with weaknesses. Links: Hyperdrive, Hyperdrive Comparisons)

The Wardroid Mark IIIb of Macharian Industries was developed to fill a gap in the heavy fire support branch of the droid forces of the Rim-Guard Order. Its purpose was to deliver heavy artillery support on a mobile basis, being capable of keeping pace with mechanised troops.

They are protected by own shields, carry serious firepower and act as the pinnacle of armoured warfare in the ranks of the Socii. Due to their Titanium frame and Matrix armor plating, they are very resilient to most forms of damage, but share the same vulnerability to EMP and Ion weapons as all droids do.

WEAKNESSES
  • A high recoil requires teh weapon to be mounted on a strong chassis.
  • Its weight and size are additionally requiring it to be mounted on strong enough vehicles or machines, as infantry is incapable of carrying or using it.
  • Due to being fed by actual shells, its ammo storage is limited.
DESCRIPTION
After the Csilla campaing and the encounter with the war engines of the Tech-War Hosts of Vandemar, the engineers of the Rim-Guard Order were tasked with developing weapons to be carried by a heavy-tank-grade wardroid. The result was the development of a set of weaponry together with the Dreadnought Wardroid.

The Gatling Blaster was one of the first weapons to be developed. The need for directly firing artillery was incorperated with the development of a heavy autocannon and a six-barrelled solution was brought up. This would dramatically increase the rate of fire without fear of overheating while maintain a good shell velocity. The possibility to carry multiple ammunition types made the weapon a lot more versatile than a simple blaster or laser cannon. High-Explosive (HE) shells would provide artillery firepower, Armor-Penetration (AP) shells would stamp holes into every armour and short-fused armor-penetration-high-explosive shells (APHE), a combo of the two previous for the destruction of lightly armored targets.

The Tempest Turbolaser was the response to the necessarity to overcome super heavy enemy tanks or fortifications as well as shields. Its possibility to supercharge made it able to unleash such a powerful burst of energy, that it could melt the strongest of steels or overcharge strong planetary deployed shields. Additionally it could unleash its powercell in the normal fire mode, which gave it a moderate rate of fire with still a high damage output or the possibility to burst in rapid fire, decreasing the damage but giving it a high rate of fire.

The Inferno Cannon was designed as a giant flamethrower to be used in urban or heavily fortified terrain. With its extremely long range for a flamer, it was capable of clearing large buildings or bunkers with ease, filling entire trenches and halls with fire without getting too close. The heat developed by the weapon would easily melt most non-high grade steel parts or simply cook the people in armour or tanks to death.

The Vanquisher Plasma Weapon is based on a prototype weapon which has long been tested. It transforms energy into gaseous plasma with a minor electric charge, this delivers a 'shell* made of superheated matter with the energy of a small star. The destructive potential of the weapon is extreme as it vaporises matter within nano-seconds of touching it due to its extreme heat. A slight addition is that the charge carries a minor ion impulse, which can be damaging to electric systems in the area of explosion.
