OVERVIEW

The Imperial Confederation is a sovereign, autocratic alliance forged from the embers of collapsed empires and divided Imperial remnants. A unification of the Imperial Sector Authority, the Risen Empire, and the Empire Reborn, the Confederation seeks to restore peace, prosperity, and stability to the galaxy through discipline, strength, and absolute authority.

Drawing inspiration from the legacies of the Galactic Empire and the Fel Empire, it adapts to the modern galactic order. The Confederation is ruled by Empress Liraeth Deschart and the Imperial Ruling Council. Supporting them both are military and intelligence institutions, and the Commission for the Establishment of Civilian Interests (COMECI). While separate in function, they all serve the greater vision: a united galaxy ruled by Imperial order, honor, and strength.

Join the Imperator Corps, the Confederation’s ground army, the Imperial Navy, which commands vast battlegroups across the stars, or the Imperial Secret Service, the elusive intelligence agency tasked with rooting out those that would do the Confederation harm. Whether you serve as an infantry trooper or officer, an Imperial agent, a starfighter ace, or a capital ship commander, you will be the spear that brings order to a fractured galaxy. MILITARY | IMPERATOR CORPS

The tip of the spear and foremost offensive fighting force of the Imperial Confederation. Absolutely legendary and iconic in its traditions and aesthetic. The Imperator Corps is a group of highly trained soldiers who have proven their worth in battle against some of the most fearsome foes, with the most experienced members being veterans of the Core Wars, the Tingel Arm Rebellion and the Sith-Imperial Conflict. The atmosphere is gritty yet enduring with a fixation on the human struggle through combat as they overcome their comrades at their side, besting greater odds and variable threats to see the Imperial Confederation eclipse all else.

While the Imperator Corps garners the glory by acting as the sword in hand to the Imperial Confederation, the CDF is the shield. The forces of the Confederate Defense Force are less equipped and trained than their counterparts in the Imperator Corps but still possess the same fighting spirit and comradery.

Often starting on the backfoot of defensive engagements the goal of the CDF is always to scale the odds and defeat the enemy, employing the titanic armored forces at the disposal of the Imperial Confederation to make their might known on the field of battle. While rarer in offensive engagements, the CDF is deployed to nearly every domestic military installation to defend the Imperial Confederation from its foes within and without its borders.

MILITARY | SPECIAL FORCES

Where the others can not accomplish the task, the special forces groups of the Imperial Confederation are dispatched to act as the cloak and dagger, the scalpel. Deployed on missions of utmost danger, secrecy and importance, the special forces groups of the Imperial Confederation are some of the most lethal on the Galactic stage, taking the form of SpecNav Commandos, Purge Troopers, Death Troopers, and Nova Commandos to name a few, the varied and specialized elite fighting forces of the Imperial Confederation are a multi-pronged will of reckoning to those who dare oppose the Imperial Confederation be they clandestine or brazen in their defiance.

The Imperial Navy has been a long-established force to be reckoned with. Well known and widely feared on the Galactic stage, the Imperial Navy is one of the more effective naval fighting forces in the Galaxy, employing a mesh of tactics and doctrines seen in both Imperial Remnants long past as well as utilizing the stratagems and mandates of their foes to harness the power of an ever-evolving armada that constantly seeks to adapt and remold itself as conflicts progress to isolate and exploit the weaknesses of their enemies. The story of the Navy is not that of the instruments of destruction but of the very men and women who so precisely position the might of the Imperial Confederation into its optimal stratagems and the perilous journey along the way.

MILITARY | STARFIGHTER CORPS

The Imperial TIE Pilot is one of the deadliest tools of destruction at the disposal of the Imperial Confederation. Each and every one of them is some of the most talented and trained in their field, opting for sheer speed and neck snapping maneuverability over sluggishness or raw power. The starfighter corps is the oil to the gears, the scaffolding of the essential foundation work formed together to make up the Imperial Armed Forces. Explore squadron dynamics and inner focus as pilots fight for space and air superiority as well as offering air support to the soldiers on the ground.

The ideology of the Jedi and Sith are antiquated relics of the past; their archaic orders have contributed to the neverending cycle of warfare that has long poisoned our galaxy to the core. In their desire to achieve dominance through the force, they have revealed themselves to be dichotomous facets of the same coin, forever poised to seek dominance over the other at the detriment of the galaxy as a whole.

It is from this entropy that the Imperial Knights of the Imperial Confederation have risen strong, and stand adamant against the tidal wave of threats who seek to bring chaos to the Empire and its denizens. The Imperial Knights are devoted to the defense and preservation of the Imperial Confederation, fully trained in the force but loyal to the Empress above all else provided she remains untainted by the corruption of the Dark Side.

FORCE USERS | INQUISITORIUS

While the Imperial Knights uphold principles of honor, duty, and loyalty, their counterparts within the Inquisitorius have no such constraints. They are willing to employ any means necessary to achieve their objectives, including deception, manipulation, and even outright cruelty. Their allegiance to the Confederation, grants them immense power which they wield with ruthless efficiency.

The Inquisitorius is a necessary evil; their warriors serve as instruments of the Confederation, called upon when their unique abilities are required to carry out covert operations, suppress rebellious factions, or eliminate Force-sensitive threats. While they possess immense power, their role is to serve and obey, often fulfilling the orders of even the lower-ranking officers. This ensures that their abilities are tightly controlled and used only for the Confederation’s benefit.

INTELLIGENCE & LAW ENFORCEMENT | IMPERIAL SECURITY SERVICE

The Galaxy is one of lies and deceit; it's a galaxy filled with conflicting ambitions, and deliberate misinformation. In an age of galactic hegemons who vie for power and influence through soft power, and engage each other through hybrid warfare, it is up to the Imperial Security Service to snuff out these threats to the Imperial Confederation. The ISS is tasked with being the primary apparatus of intelligence and subterfuge both internally and externally throughout the galaxy. Whether these objectives involve direct reconnaissance & surveillance, infiltration & sabotage, or the lethal targeting of security threats via the shadows, the ISS are at home within the Imperial Confederation’s ever-growing shadow.

The ISS is not only meant to deal with the Imperial Confederation’s enemies in the dark; secondarily but of equal importance, they ensure the laws of the Imperial Confederation are adhered to by the populace of their assigned jurisdiction. Sedition is dealt with a firm hand, and those who seek to commit crimes against the Imperial Confederation are prosecuted to the full extent of their authority. In short, the eyes of the Imperial Security Service are everywhere and nowhere at the same time.

It is through their actions that order is maintained, and security is achieved.

POLITICAL/MILITARY | GOVERNORS & MOFFS

The Governors and Moffs represent the administrative core of the Imperial Confederation, given the important responsibility of governing entire sectors and enforcing the laws and edicts imposed by the Imperial Ruling Council and COMECI. Furthermore, they maintain access and control over a considerable amount of military resources largely used to maintain order and security across and enforce the authority of the Confederation within their respective sectors. Through them, the core principles of the Confederation are upheld with each Governor and Moff being the first line of defense against any form of hostile forces both external and internal. They answer to the Imperial Ruling Council and maintain a limited degree of autonomy when running their sectors.

POLITICAL | COMECI

The Commission for the Establishment of Civilian Interests is a unique entity within the Confederation that serves as an executive body that has the ability to grant and monitor governing authority within the Confederation. While not a legislature, the COMECI exists to ensure that the Confederation's needs for infrastructure, policy, economy, and governance are met; usually by appointing personnel and resources to oversee, alter, or resolve specific issues through Commissions, which act as individual government agencies.

ORIGIN POINTS​

While invoking a great deal of the aesthetic foundation of the canon Galactic Empire and Imperial Remnants, the Imperial Confederation's coming to power does not so closely resemble them. The Imperial Confederation was formed as a result of the unification of three Imperial remnant factions in the wake of the collapse of the Dark Empire and the Empire of the Lost. It is less a regimented state where its populace has been born and bred in the philosophy of the New Order but instead one willed into existence with the valiant efforts of what initially began as band of scattered remnants re-igniting the fires of a 'True Empire'.

Below are a few example directions any new Imperial character might come from.

IMPERIAL REMNANTS

Characters aligned with either the main four Imperial factions within the Confederation or another Imperial splinter group, may find themselves drawn to the Imperial Remnant for various reasons. Some are disillusioned with the current status of Imperialism across the galaxy, perceiving the Imperial Confederation as offering greater power or purpose. Others may be swayed by promises of influence, advancement, or personal gain.

Through carefully crafted messaging, the Imperial Confederation has portrayed itself as the true inheritor of the Empire legacy, championing ideals of strength, authority and order. Individuals may be swayed by this rhetoric, viewing the Imperial Confederation as a true chance to restore Imperial power and influence across the galaxy. Others who have suffered losses or perceived injustices at the hands of other Anti-Imperial factions may be driven by a desire for vengeance. The Imperial Confederation with its focus on restoring order to a chaotic galaxy and dismantling the Jedi-Sith dominated galactic order, presents an appealing opportunity for those seeking retribution and domination.

IDEOLOGICAL PURSUASION

The cauldron that is the Galaxy has wrought many Imperial states into fruition and damnation several times over. The Galactic Empires, the First Order, the Core Imperial Confederation, the New Imperial Order, the Dark Empire and the Empire of the Lost. They'd all expanded to subjugate massive swathes of the Galaxies only to be ravaged by the world within and without them.

Though even if governments and infrastructures fall, ideals, men and women do not. In the wake of these Imperial states have left a swath of veteran souls seeking purpose once more, to align themselves to a state that recognizes an ideology and way of life that they know better than any other.

Many from the former ranks of now defunct Imperial regimes have flocked to the Imperial Confederation for a resurgent purpose. There is no telling how many more lurk in the galaxy waiting for their calling.

IN-EXILE

Exiles, having been stripped of their former lives and identities, may find themselves adrift in a galaxy that offers little solace or redemption. Facing societal ostracization and a lack of support networks, they may succumb to feelings of hopelessness and despair, seeking refuge in the arms of the Imperial Confederation, which presents itself as a beacon of strength and stability in an uncertain galaxy.

To these exiles, the Imperial Confederation gave them a second chance, incentivizing them to prove their worth to the Imperial Confederation and either shape a new future for themselves all on their own or reclaim what has been taken from them. In this effort, the brazen and truest traits which brought them to the Imperials have been reflected in the Empire itself all the while, the strengths of the Imperial have reflected back unto them to mold an unbreakable will of defiance.
