Description: The Eye in the Stars droid is one of the first widely public products coming from the engineers and minds of the members of Starchaser Enterprises. While Coren Starchaser manages the company, and works hand in hand with Silk Holdings as a retainer starship designer, he had been working on many ideas to help make spacing easier. And that is the concept behind the Eye in the Stars droid. This droid is your basic space fairing probe droid. This droid uses a repulsorlifts and an ion engine to orbit it’s parent vessel. From said vessel, the pilot, or responsible crewman, can control the angle, and distance, that the Eye in the Stars approaches said vessel. This allows pilots and crew a 360 degree, live action image of their vessel, capable of spotting trouble areas on the hull, as well as giving the pilot a much needed boost in situational awareness, by providing their ships sensors data in a very simple user interface. Assembled cheaply, these droids are sold in groups of ten, so that if one is destroyed, they may be quickly replaced.

Droids are not hyperspace capable and will need to be collected before heading into lightspeed. They are very simple units that are easily destroyed if they are found, by a blaster bolt. It provides a new way for pilots to view space flight and repairs between stations. Data is transmitted on a closed circuit, tight beam broadcast, and will need to be recalibrated for use on other ships. However, with units being cheap, there really isn’t much cause to recalibrate. Furthermore, as the data is transmitted by a tight beam broadcast, the unit itself does not store any data.

This unit is merely to give pilots a new way of approaching space flight
