Description: This weapon is nothing more than a San-Ni Staff slightly modified to be longer. The unactivated staff is a 5 foot long cylinder of durasteel that looks very much to be a sleek bo staff. By grabbing each end, twisting and pulling, Andreas will be able to separate the staff into three sections held together by power couplings that zap and stun anything that comes into contact with them while 10 centimeter stun prods jut out from the ends. The stun prods are able to shear off limbs, cook flesh and severely burn an enemy with even a near miss. Doing this also doubles the length and therefore reach of the weapon to 10 feet. The heavy durasteel that makes up the sections can easily break bones with enough force. Just like its source material, the staff protects its user from self-harm via miniature heat sinks.
Unlike the san-ni staff, the Exterminator Staff has four buttons located on one end of the weapon that allow it to be hastily retracted back into its bo staff form, release one or both stun prods while in bo staff form, regulate the intensity of the stun prods from lethal (default) to stun and modify the length of the power couplings from 10 feet overall (default) to 8 feet.
While great for keeping distance, when extended the staff is not easily manipulated as it becomes a flexible weapon and thus, if blocked, cannot be quickly swung again for another attack. This leaves the wielder open. The power couplings are the only part of the staff impervious to lightsabers.
