Mara Corridor
Mid Rim

The Old Imperial base had been refitted by the locals in there years of advancement. A stop point for many travellers who were not huge fans of the riff raff that spaceports and refuelling stations normally attracted along the Mara Corridor. It was bustling with a higher class of traveller, rich entrepreneurs and others form the upper echelons of society that were brave enough to venture from the safety of their home compounds. They hired out conference rooms for local business and it was with great pleasure that Rosa used a little of the first donation she had been given to hire one out for the use of this meeting.

She'd chosen Dressel for its central location between Teth, Commenor and the Pii system, at least, it was as central as she could get without dragging the Queen of Commenor and Master Ash to a backwater world full of unsavoury characters. No, it was important to Rosa that she made a good first impression, these two people were key in furthering the reach of the Boolon Foundation.

The invitations had gone out a few weeks before hand, and while Rosa waited for thier arrival she busied herself ensuring there were suitable refreshments available and double checking that she had her notes in order. The purpose of today's meeting was to establish where the new settlements were to be placed, what was required withing them and the responsibilities of each party involved.

Kay was glad to have a few standard weeks to prepare for this meeting with [member="Rosa Gunn"] . It wasn't that often that she was given such ample time. And yet, here she had it. Dressel wasn't the kind of place that she had been to before, so it gave her security free reign to get in there days ahead of her and scope things out.

When she did arrive, it was on board her ship The Free Lady. A modified and clearly maked diplomatic vessel. After it docked, Kay got out with a few security personnel dressed in uniforms in the Commenori colours of gray and blue, while she, herself was dressed in a white and pink gown.

When she entered the meeting room, after being directed, she smiled as she smelled the fragrance of freshly brewed tea in the air, as well as the foods. Rosa certainly did her homework. Kay's security kept near the door while she went straight to the tea, pouring herself a cup. It wasn't until after then that she had spotted Rosa and bowed her head. "Afternoon. Thank you for the invitation, and for the tea. It smells lovely."

John Ash

Only by Fire do we become Ash.
Dressel worked for John for a meet up with a neutral party. He had factories here and that gave him a chance to multitask a bit, which was always welcome as busy as he was lately. So he did just that by stopping by his facilities to see how things were going there first before heading out towards the meeting place. He didn't know this Boolon Foundation very well but from what he did they seemed to be the kind that would be helpful to the growth of his system. That fact alone was enough for him to see what this group was all about.

John found himself in the meeting location soon enough after visiting his factories. He was wearing a business suit but had a pistol strapped to his hip. Old habits died hard especially when he wasn't trying to break them. He looked around the room and saw Lady Kay as well as someone he didn't know. He came in further as he said, " Lady Kay." He nodded to her and went on, " How are the ships? Working properly?" He then turned his attention to the person he didn't know. He said to them, " I'm John Ash. Are you this Ms. Gunn I'm suppose to be meeting?"

Rosa looked up from her fussing as [member="Lady Kay"] entered the room, making an immediate beeline for the tea. Smiling the Jedi returned the bow. "You're most welcome Lady Kay. I'm pleased you could make it." She took a step forward, extending a hand. "I'm Rosa Gunn."

[member="John Ash"] joined them. There was something in the way he said 'this' before 'Ms. Gunn' that irked her. Perhaps it was the fact that she was married and many people were mistaking her for a 'Miss or Ms.' or perhaps it was the simple disregard for the fact that she was a Jedi and people, on the whole seemed to have stopped referring to Jedi with their appropriate titles. Of course, pride was not something a Jedi should have. Pride led to the darkside. And she understood why people had lost the respect for the Jedi as a whole (thank you very much Republic Jedi Order).

No, Rosa pinned it down to the simple point that it was, without intention she'd no doubt, rude.

"No, I'm afraid not. I'm just the tea lady."

She maintained her cool expression.

Just.

Kay sipped her tea as [member="John Ash"] strode in. She bowed her head to him with a smile. "The ships are working out very well, thank you."

Her attention was turned to [member="Rosa Gunn"] as she responded to John's inquiry. Kay smirked at the sarcastic response. Rosa was sassy. She reminded her of some others that she knew in her staff. Those types of people were always fun. "Now, now, no reason to start off on the wrong foot...."
