Okay I'll respond here with some quick comments to get you on the right path.

First off that ship is a cruiser not a Frigate. I know people play loose with terminology in star wars when it comes to class names, so this is really a personal prefrence buuut page 33 of the Essential Guide to Warfare lays out the definitions of ship classifications as such:

Corvette: 100-200 meters
Frigate: 200-400 meters
Cruiser: 400-600 meters
Heavy Cruiser: 600-1000 meters
Star Destroyer: 1,000-2,000 meters
Battlecruiser: 2,000-5,000 meters
Dreadnaught: 5,000+ meters

Also don't use mglt, and if we did we would use the XWA/TIE fighter measurements of mglt which has your ship being WAY too fast. Instead we use a class rating rating system 1-10 with 1 being fast and 10 being slow. In the template it describes it better. To help you understand I'll post the template for ships here. Shield strength and things like that we aren't worried about, and should just be added with relatively vague terms in the description.

Classification: (Starfighter, Freighter, Capital, Starbase, etc)
Role: (What is the ship designed for? Blockade Runner? Ship of the Line? Command Station?)
Height: (Via Metric System)
Width: (Via Metric System)
Length: (Via Metric System)
Power Core Generator/Reactor: (What fuels the ship? Antimatter? Fuel Cells? A singularity?)
Hyperdrive Rating: (Lower the number, the faster The hyperdrive)
Minimum Crew: (The minimal amount of individuals needed to operate The ship or station)
Optimal Crew: (The ideal amount of individuals needed to operate The ship or station)
Armaments: (What weapons and defenses are mounted on The ship or station. For projectile weapons, include an ammo count. As a baseline comparison, Y-Wings could carry 8 torpedoes or 20 proton bombs. X-wings carried up to 6 proton torpedoes)
Hanger: (Not required for ships lacking a hanger. How many ships and vehicles can it hold?)
Non-Combative Attachments: (What else is outfitted onto The ship; working example, most ships possess sensor arrays)
Passenger Capacity: (How many non-crew individuals can The ship or station support)
Cargo Capacity: (Metric system; how much cargo can The ship or station hold, assuming a full armament, hanger, and crew count)
Consumables: (How long could The crew be sustained on The ship's oxygen, food, water and medical supplies)
Sublight Speed and Maneuverability: (How fast and nimble can the ship move in realspace? Class 1-10; Class 1 speed or maneuverability would be an A-wing or TIE Interceptor, while Class 10 speed or maneuverability would be like the Death Star. Class 3 would be an unmodified YT-1300 freighter. Class 5 would be like a Corellian Blockade Runner. Class 8 would be most capital ships.)

Anyways I hope this all helps you.

I know you were basing it on that. Because the Official Star Wars Fact file was a piece of crap not consistent with any other source material. Thats where the 80mglts comes from. That book also had a Star Destroyer going faster than the Falcon. By like a lot. Which to be fair was George Lucas's original intent. Originally Star Destroyers could outrun X-wings and fighters, but that got changed later on when he switched to a WWII model for Space Warfare and just embraced the idea of fantasy in space.

Some advice that I hate to give but mostly works, when Designing ships think about WWII naval combat and some of the things you've seen/heard and you'll probably get the feel right.

lol, ok well I don't know much about WWII naval combat dispite most of my great uncles being in the navy :D
( do i need to slow it down still?)

Another quick note, you said 2-5 squadrons depending on configuration. If you could please put in the description what you mean by that statement. Like a quick blurb. The Carrack holds like 5 fighters 0 squadrons. You're a little bit bigger you're in Strike Cruiser range (http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Strike-class_medium_cruiser) but even then it only carries 1-3 squadrons so 5 may be a bit high, but I'll wait to see what you mean by variable before I judge it.

They don't match.. for 1. it has hanger space, 2, has differnet guns 3. the ship is bigger...

If you want to keep going I have no problem continuing to review and help you. It's my job. So just post when you've made edits and I'll get back to it.

ok, So do you think that 4 squadrons of intecetpers or 2 squadrons of bommbers or 3 squadrons of standard fighters work for what I was thinking :D Is that reasonable?

Tell us your definition of "squadron".

Also, I'd really like to see this thing's dimensions and statistics move in a direction a little more unique. I look at it all, and with the exception of the length, I see a copy-paste of the Carrack cruiser's stats.

Okay I would just say 2 Squadrons, maybe 3. Here is my rationale; using the rebel alliance as a basis the Y-wing is 16m long, the X-wing is 12.5m long, and A-wing 9.6 meters long. That isn't really that significant a difference when you start adding crew and mechanics and such for the fighters. I let you explain your position because there was a chance you had multiple configurations like the Strike Cruiser and it depending on what ground equipment you were carrying. IF you had done something like added a droid starfighter that was tiny to get it up to 5 squadrons I'd be okay with that, because a Tri Fighter is 5.4meters. There is a huge difference in size there and you don't need space for the crews.

So if you change the fighters to 2 or 3 squadrons, either or, than I would accept this design.

I changed it to 3, though I figured with the now extra width and height that it could definatly accomidate the 4 :D

Ten big guns and three fighter squadrons is respectable for a 500mx150m ship. Very reasonable stats, to my eye, and you've certainly gone with every edit staff as requested. Mature process, acceptable submission, maybe even a touch undergunned. Approved.
