Expansion: Necessities Met

Landing his ship, Matreya rose to his feet, stretched, and moved to exit. Unlike his previous trip to Mustafar, he did not come wearing his battle suit, instead a much more luxurious, in the fashion of the Executive bought for him by one Damien Daemon. It was far more durable than Shell silk anyhow.

As always though, his Bow and Quiver were on his person, hidden from sight.

Marching slowly towards the doors of the main building amongst a larger number, Matreya waited until the door slid open, then stepped inside. Looking around, he spotted a droid as it moved to intercept him, "Let Ultimatum know Valashu Bonkai is here to solidify a contract recently spoken of."

"Of course." The droid turned and left. It was one of the few on planet not to have part of Ultimatum's program, and therefore a mental connection, built into it. Ultimatum had decided that droids that worked in the roles such as this one needed to sound less like the ruler of the planet. He did not require them anyways, the observations that they might have given would be nothing compared to the ones that were collected from the cleaning and mouse droids.

Ultimatum was near either way, government meetings had always been an irritating necessity. How else was he to maintain control of the planet. If he were to try and command everything with some sort of overseer droid type then he would need truly massive processing units, just to work through all the information that had to run through the planet. He put the conference on hold. The local governors could handle any issue that they had for a few days without difficulty, or pressuring the system.

He walked there, leisurely as he could given the situation. He found it amusing that he could consider anything leisurely. He found himself entering the room within minutes of the communique. "Hello again my friend... Nice suit. Where did you get that one?" He was impressed with the suit, having only a few times seen anything of greater visual appearance than simple travelers robes.

Val glanced down at the golden threads of his suit, then struck a pose he hoped looked dashing, "It was a gift from our mutual acquaintance. It would seem I found his weakness. Then exploited it!" He said, before gesturing about them, "Do you want to just do this in the open? Or should we take this elsewhere? Does that even matter?" He asked the latter with an accompanied chuckle. It wasn't over his head to believe Ultimatum had true control over the bots around them.

For all he was aware, those scurrying around had no real intelligence of any fashion!

"Ya know, I gotta say, it surprises me that your body doesn't rust up or something. Considering the heat and what not on this planet. Wouldn't it have made more sense to go somewhere else instead of here?"

Ultimatum was about to make a joke about the suits origins, specifically whether he had stolen that as well. However the other questions were a little more important to the discussion that would soon take place. So naturally he answered them first. "It is your preference, those droids here that are not under my control do not have enough memory to record anything more than cleaning routes. If you would be more comfortable in a more private location there are a few within walking distance. As for the location, at first I thought of avoiding this planet due to those reasons. However, one advantage that showed itself of utmost importance and will play an important role for LOOM is the metal resources that are so plentiful that it is unlikely it will be entirely used during my time alive. That was the reason I chose this planet, I can create as many droids or equipment as I will ever require."

When looking for a planet he had first decided to avoid those planets with copious amounts of water, or those that were especially humid, while at the same time trying to avoid those planets that were more volcanic in nature. He had thought along the lines of Corellia originally, fate was on his side in that regard, Alderaan, or other more temperate worlds. However Mustafar had shown itself a good decision, there had been few galactic powers in the region at the time, there was such a natural amount of metal and the natives had been willing to part with it almost overwillingly, then there was the fact that it was not in a very strategic placement. There had been no real desire to capture it by galactic powers, which had given him a refuge from the organics that played their games of power.

"Did you steal the suit from out friend just like you did the memory bank? Or did he part with it willingly? And also you wish to finish working on our contract, I am ready whenever you are."

"No, that would have been foolish. Never poodoo in your own mess kit and all. I stole the databank, and what was needed, but that was it. I left it alone from then on. Now I simply work as an ally, Merr-Sonn being allied with a higher power is quite the advantage, let me tell you. Not to mention he is an amazing alchemist, lesser than only a few in history which is quite the accomplishment." Val said then nodded, "Yes, let us continue with the contract.

"Now, originally you spoke of a trade when I mentioned a contract. What sort of trade were you looking for?" He asked with an arched brow, "I can offer weaponry of multiple variations. Hidden, hold out, stronger, faster, more accurate. Or, we can attempt other means."

Ultimatum could understand not upsetting a wounded krayt. Something that was sometimes difficult to avoid, but definitely a tip to remember. He had not attempted such in the past, the only time he had taken something from another was his old master. A human that had been too hypocritical for the droid. He had taken a large chunk of credits from him, which had later been used to set up the facilities on Mustafar, after it had been moved around and split in such a way that attempts to track it would be overwhelmed. That was the last thing Ultimatum wanted, to be found by the maker.

"I could use heavy repeater type weapons for security forces of this planet. For that you need resources?"

Valashu, unlike the droid, had done many dangerous things for as long as he can remember. At 7 years old, he was sent into a pit to face a horde of Terentatek. 14, he was pit against a powerful Jedi Knight. By the time he had ascended to Knight ranks, he had already faced, and survived or killed, dozens more powerful in the Force than he.

Not to mention the stealing. It was not something he did often, or lightly, as it was frowned on by the Jensaarai-Ka. But when he did it was for something that was needed. Which tended to be large, whether in cost, amount, or other factors.

"Alright, I can manage that. Mostly the arms choices depend on the droids, or men, that will be wielding them. If of moderate size, I have plenty, all the sizes including turrets."

Ultimatum was glad that the organic seemed alright with the trade. The droid had never used any sort of automatic weapon, his experience was almost entirely in the bolt action and semi-automatic realm. He was not complaining, he liked his weaponry. But there were situations that he knew would require more immediate and powerful response. He wanted a weapon that could be handed to his droids to fight on a larger scale. Quiet and stealth had their place, but this sort of weapon had one as well. There was a war out there, the whole galaxy was aflame with chaos and destruction. In the whirlwind he had begun constructing the foundations of peace.

But in order to maintain the peace he intended, it would need to be defended from the organics that would destroy it. It was like building the body of an organic, he had the skeleton in place and was building the tissues that would make up the various organs. It was important that the diseases that would destroy it to be kept away, that was what his plans were for the weapons that would be made. He did not want to wage war, it was a horrendous act. But he would to defend his work.

"Thank you. The first shipments will be on their way before you make the first jump to hyperspace." If Ultimatum's calculations were correct, then that would give this one enough time to get the word back to his own people. Of course, Ultimatum would wait until the man was preparing to leave, it was the polite thing to do.
