Intent: To create a line of exotic shotgun ammo for the galactic market place.
Development Thread:
Manufacturer: Red Ravens/Stargo Defense Enterprises
Model: NA
Affiliation: Red Ravens, Stargo Defense Enterprise, Open Market
Modularity: No
Production: Mass
Material: Durasteel, plastic, phosphorous, gunpowder, lead, magnesium, tungsten, confetti
Description:

Variety is the spice of death some say, or is it life? Either way that doesn't matter. The exotic line of twelve gauge shotgun ammo from Stargo does matter. Wanting to capitalize on the Outlaw Shotgun Stargo has created a new line of shotgun ammo for the galaxy. Some of which are incredibly deadly, and others more for fun and recreation.

1: STUNNER
maxresdefault.jpg

Description: The stunner has no projectiles loaded within it. Rather than being used as a lethal round the weapon let's out a loud concussive blast capable of bursting eardrums and a bright light that can cause temporary blindness. The round has the equivalent effectiveness at about 50% of a normal flash bang grenade. This grenade is made to disorient the enemy and In no way shape or form will it cause damage to an opponent unless fired nearly point blank into an adversaries upper torso and head.

The shell also comes with a good amount of weaknesses. Since it has no projectile this weapon will damage your weapon with repeated use. After firing these rounds it is highly recommended that you clean your weapon completely. When firing these rounds ear protection or sound dampeners are a must have, or else you will be just as susceptible to the concussive sound that the round lets out. Another warning is when firing do not look directly into the light, or at it in general.

Stats
Range: 6 meters (to stun)
Spread: 1 meter
Armor Piercing: No Projectile

Strengths
•Loud
•Bright
•Great stunning opponents or causing distractions

Weaknesses

•Will damage weapon without proper cleaning
•Requires ear protection
•Can stun user as well

2: INFERNO
dragons_breath_shotgun_round_action.jpg

Description: The Inferno is a fun toy made for the cynical and arsonists of the galaxy. It is essentially a miniature flamethrower and creates a ninety meter long flame from the barrel when fired. Using magnesium when fired the shotgun shell will produce a streak of white hot fire that will burn for about three seconds at 3100 degrees Celsius, which is capable of flash frying most people who were unfortunate enough to stumble in the path of this shell. The weapon unfortunately will not burn long enough to melt metal or duraplast armors. It will burn through most blast vest fibers but when used against actual armor the shell is useless only burning exposed skin. The inferno will only burn and potentially kill targets at about forty meters, anything beyond that the magnesium is just a fireworks show.

Continued use of this weapon will also melt and wrap your barrel until the weapon firing it will cease to work due to the extreme heat. This round also will not work with semi automatic or fully automatic shotguns. So the user should be using a pump or lever action shotgun.

Stats
Range: 90 meters (streak) 40 meters (actual damage)
Spread: 1 meter
Armor piercing: No

Strengths
• Will flash fry unarmored opponents at close range.
• Creates a useful distraction
•Looks cool

Weaknesses
• Will warp and destroy weapon if fired too frequently
•Will not work up to forty meters
•Will not affect armored opponents

3: PACK O PUNCH
Armor%20Piercing%20Discarding%20Sabot.JPG

The incendiary armor piercing shell is by far the deadliest on this list, it is stargo's most expensive and will deliver on it's promises to put down your enemies. The pack o punch uses a simple one step process. When firing buckshot inside the shell is made of tungsten carbide mixed in with magnesium and phosphorous. When fired the gunpowder ignites the explosives inside the shell (magnesium & phosphorous) coats itself to the buckshot sending out super heated and super charged tungsten. This is capable of piercing most medium and some heavy armors. Rare metals like Beskar and ultrachrome however will hold up to the buckshot leaving only a bruise and the feeling of getting punched by an Olympic boxer in the chest.

These rounds are still again without their faults. They should only be fired after a cool down of about five seconds due to the explosives materials Inside the shells. They can damage the weapon and the kick on these shells can put the user on their butt so being stationary and in a proper shooting stance is best. And if you are in the market for these shells they are extremely expensive due to their material.

Stats
Range: 50 meters
Spread: 7.62 CM
Armor piercing: Can pierce most medium armors class 8 and bellow. Can pierce heavy armor class 7 and bellow.

Strengths
• Hard hitting
•Armor piercing

Weaknesses
• Damaging to weapon
• Heavy Kick
• Expensive

4: PARTY POPPER
188518_ts.jpg

The most fun round on the list, the party popper is a pretty fun round. It has very little gunpowder in it and is filled with confetti. It has no tactical or strategic value besides creating a small laugh. The confetti leaves the barrel and creates a bright stream of glitter and color to dazzle all with how fabulous it is.

Stats:
Range: 1 Meter
Spread: 2 meters
Armor piercing: it's confetti

Please separate these into their own single tech subs. Remember only a max of three subs are allowed in the tech forum.

Once that is done, we will get to reviewing each separately
